Hy folks, can any of you who have used Animate 2 elaborate on the tweening capabilities if you have any experience with it? I can't find demonstrations of this function, as most people seem to just use the frame by frame abilities [which are quite good]. I read somewhere that Toonboom bought out Ani...

Adobe did produce a 2d animation program called Livemotion. It was to be a competitor to Flash [before they bought Macromedia out]. At the time it was more intuitive for animating [could just be my opinion, but I didn't have to look at a single tutorial to make an animation, unlike with Flash]. Appa...

I have converted from Anime Studio to Moho [the other way doesn't require conversion] and that was fairly easy and obvious. But when I tried the AS6 demo I loaded one of my projects from AS5 and accidently saved. I can't see anything obvious to change - deleting the lines that causes the error just ...

Hi, I think I might have figured out what you're trying to say, and a solution. Correct me if I'm wrong, but on your other thread you wanted to 'make the dog visible again', and this one you want to 'get rid of the dog'. I think you use the word 'dog' to mean 'character. And I believe you want to ge...

From my understanding of how OBJs work in Anime Studio, regardless of what 3d program you use, to get the light and shading on the OBJ you must first 'bake' the render to the object's texture [which you can do in Blender]. I believe that if you imported an unbaked OBJ, Anime Studio is using it's own...

My advice would be to pick one of which you think is your best idea and concentrate on making the best animation you can. You seemed to have spread yourself rather thinly, judging from the results. Did you by any chance do these as a joke? The Alien one seems a bit too 'spaced out' for children, the...

Maya is used for South Park. Obviously overkill. 3dMax and the Illustrate cel renderer was used in Ghost In A Shell. Likely that the 'big' shows would use Max\Maya\Softimage, but you don't need to spend all that money if you want cel shaded. Or any money at all if you use Blender 3d. Example: http:/...

Family Guy's humour is one dimensional - 'Remember in the 80's/90's/70's/60's/etc when this used to happen?...' If Family Guy's animation was created by a computer, then they need to upgrade their computers. But seriously, they might use 3d for certain things. I know that The Simpsons uses 3d for ve...

Illustrator CS5 Introduces Line-Width Tool Similar To AS
So now in Illustrator CS5 you can adjust centre-line vectors line width on a point by point basis similar to Anime Studio. I think this is a good reason for Anime Studio to incorporate bezier handles for points!

Good idea providing the screen shots. From your description and diagrams it looks like to me that you are creating new shapes for the limbs etc. however you are not deleting the previously created shapes from the export. So when you lower your new shapes, the old ones from the export now become 'hig...
