Re: Any tutorials on how to get a hand drawn look?
I just avoid all that hassle with importing vectors, I just import a bitmap and build in Moho on top of that. Fast and with a useable result.

Re: Using PNGs for difficult in-betweens
I see no flaw in your thinking.
I did the same on many occasions, but with more than one PNG. So it's rig 1 - switch layer - rig 2. No motion blur for me, usually. Getting the same line qualty is easy, I render 1 frame from Moho and import it to TVPaint.

Re: Any tutorials on how to get a hand drawn look?
I use TVPaint and Moho within the same projects and like a hand-drawn look, so my style has to be possible in both programs. - Line quality: this is the easiest part because of Moho's brushes, to which I can also add my own. I can have lines both from TVP and Moho within the same character and you w...

Re: DIY ant killbot
OK. I get it. None of this is serious, on no level, right? You're not going around slipping these into local business' mailboxes? Or do you? Really? Apart from it being a tad bit long for my taste (or maybe the many "like" in the monologue) it's a damn fine piece of work. I grew up with 50...

Re: export animation with bone
No, that's not possible.
You could try to play back in project view and use a screen recorder.

Re: Drawing Backgrounds
Thx for the link, I didn't know that book before. It's very on the technical side, I wouldn't recommend it to beginners. OK, my approach to backgrounds. - Do I need a background at all? Many of my jobs just require some gradient or colour card. - How important is the background, which part of the st...

Re: How to view Thumbnail Previews in Finder?
Since Mac OS 10.11 / Moho 11.5:
In list view you only see previews if you choose "large icons", with "small icons" you only see the generic Moho logo icon. In all other views you'll see the preview.

Re: A few questions.
15 min rendering time of a 20 sec animation is still within normal borders, depending of complexity of scenes. I had a 17 sec scene which took an hour to render because I used video files whith very much detail in it.

Re: Does latest version of Moho Pro offer these?
1. Moho works perfectly with alpha channels both in video and image files. There's some small points to think of: - any straight line/image file border could create a visible line in certain circumstances, so make sure your PS artwork has some transparent pixels around everything, and preferably hav...

OK, so I need a rotating piano for some new project. Opened Blender, tried to do whatever with that cube you see at start, closed it, frustrated again. I just need something with a camera move which I can trace! Well, there's my swiss army knife, so I just created some rectangles in Moho, tilted the...

Well, just rig it with all the bones available? I do this all the time, smart bones are only for some special cases.

Music video #3
https://vimeo.com/796390143 796390143 I promise this will be the last music video until autumn! For this one I plundered Giorgio de Chirico, as you all immediately noticed. Do yourself a favour and watch it full screen. Cutout animation really is one of Moho's virtues, incredibly fast and easy. I d...
