Re: GameChangerWeek - a long story of fast production

The trailer gives a good preview of the work. This reminds me that sometimes "style" is often just a creative solution to limitations. Thanks for sharing the back story.

Infinite Journeys CG Challenge

For inspiration.

The prompt for this:
1. Keep it moving to the right.
2. Capture the sense of movement.
3. Add at least one custom character.
4. Don't touch the camera.

Re: AnimeStudioTutor.com - Competition

I’ve been entering this lately for inspiration. I can usually work up something in a day or so, so that fits in with my schedule. I have to confess the rigs that I submit are little unfinished, but I don’t know if it’s possible to update the files there. Anyway, thanks to the people behind AnimeStud...

Your experience as an art director shows here 'cause this looks really good especially for a first video.

Re: 'Western Space Odyssey' close to completion

On your channel, I saw a clip for this project as far back as 2015. That must've taken some determination, but congrats -- you made it! Can't wait for the final movie!

Re: Pick stuff up and move it in a certain sequence

Neeters_guy: What an innovatively simple approach which gives spectacular results! I love how you have leveraged the flexibility of this approach by breaking the eating cycle in to two phases. The character and full animation with all the little movements is amazing. Thanks. Yes, she is double dipp...

Re: Pick stuff up and move it in a certain sequence

Greenlaw may have over engineered this little exercise, but, boy, there's a lot to mine here. Thanks for the detailed explanations.

For my part, I favor a simple hand switch for this type of action. It's so simple that it can be done in any version of Anime Studio and Moho.

Re: Issue with Enable animated layer order

If you use animated layer ordering in your smart actions, they may conflict with one another or with the main timeline. The solution will depend on how your group and bone layers are set up since layer ordering is specific within those parent layers.

Re: auto rig script

Some "advanced" features shouldn't be attempted until the fundamentals are mastered. A super basic template approach could involve nothing more than importing a simple rig like Crazy Guy from the library and swapping/altering parts. Will it look good? Well, it depends. Animating takes time...

Completing such a long piece is quite an accomplishment. The story is a bit young for my taste, but your effort clearly shows through.

Looking forward to your next project.

Re: Change the start anchor point on a closed shape

Actually, Greenlaw described a way to change the designated first point without a script: Changing the 'origin' point for Stroke Exposure Ah! I figured out how to do this. First I deleted an edge to one side of the origin and then I re-connected the two open points by drawing a new edge, only I need...
