Yes you most certainly can... and this can often lead to much better results than drawing directly in Moho. (In my opinion.) You can either go to File>Import or just simply create Image layers. I think you'll want to save your Photoshop files as .PNG files so that you get your transparency happening...

I suggest you make the legs as per normal, as if your character wasn't wearing a tunic. Add the tunic over the top and use the "move points" tool so that it always covers the legs.

You could try copying the keyframe coordinates from your animated spaceship layer onto your particle layer - Go to your spaceship layer, click the translate layer tool so that the coordinates show up at the top of the screen, and wherever there is a keyframe, switch to your particle layer and type ...

I think this is a tip top idea. LM recently explained in detail why photoshop-like bezier curve things aren't going to be happening in Moho, but this seems like a very helpful and possible alternative, well that's what I think anyhoo.
