I can't get to the web page either. Shame, because the still image looks really promising. I hope you'll still finish the film, even if not for the competition.

I really enjoyed this one too. The characters made me laugh. Good work.

...and also working on each layer already in a cube would mean constantly changing the camera view etc. Seems like it might be easier to work on them the 'regular' way and then form the cube There are two ways that I can think of to make this easier. 1) You work on your layers flat on frame zero, a...

Serious rendering errors in 5.0.5

Rather than trying to explain the problems I'm finding, I've rendered the same (unfinished) scene in both 5.0.3 and 5.0.5 and uploaded the quicktimes to my webspace so you can see what I mean. (Right click to download) http://www.barrybaker.uk.com/moho/Sc083_v5.0.3.mov http://www.barrybaker.uk.com/m...

The biggest problem I see (for myself) in this is that Moho doesn't have a way to scale groups in 3d space But if I scale a group, surely it scales in Z as well as X & Y? Seems to work anyway... Another option is to map your background onto a box, or better yet a sphere, in a 3D app. If you imp...

Hey, I missed this one when it was posted. Nice work! Like the use of 3D models, amusing aliens too. The dialogue is a bit muffled though.

Lovely job, Sang. Your work always has such a delicate touch. Beautiful flowers - especially the one that opens.

If nothing else, I'd prefer it started from the camera view. Yes, that would be excellent too. It's always a bit irritating to be suddenly hurled way out into space when starting the orbit tool. More often than not you just want to go either a bit closer or a little further than the current camera ...

Orbit tool - remember last setting

When I choose the Orbit Workspace tool (or OWtool from now on), Moho always resets to a view from way outside the working area. This is fine the first time I use it, but after I have gone back to camera view, I would like it to remember where I have moved and zoomed it to so I can go back to it agai...

Thanks jahnocli, I just discovered that Lost Marble still have 5.0.3 stored on their site, and by amending the address bar before downloading, I could get 5.0.3 instead of 5.0.4 - sneaky, but it worked! Still don't know why the new update won't work though :( I'm working on a PC running Windows XP p...

update 5.04 problems

I just downloaded 5.04 and copied it across to my Moho folder, and now I can't open any of my scenes! Moho crashes as soon as I try to open anything and exits. Now I'm cursing myself, because I already deleted the 5.03 update which was working fine, and I'll have to go back to 5.02 (which I still fo...

Good movie, funny script and innovative use of Moho. I like the character work, especially some of the facial expressions (the girl did a nice grimace when she was turned down), also the reverse angle shots where you see the characters in silhouette and out of focus against the live action. Well done!

I've been trying to download this film for several days, but with no success. :( The progress guage is just stuck at about 60%, and it doesn't move. I think I cannot be the only one, as I have noticed you have not received much feedback. I think it might be a good idea to find a better place to stor...

How do you use gile[s] with Moho?

I just purchased gile[s], the illumination editor, and I'm having trouble exporting models for use in Moho. I always seem to end up with two separate models, one containing the colour information but no lighting, and the other is saved with the lightmap, but no colours or textures. And the lighting,...
