VERY well put, crsP! You stated it SO much better than I ever could have. Yes, Painter and Photoshop ARE primarily raster tools, BUT, both possess rudimentary vector pen tools, WITH bezier handles, which perform quite admirably in creating paths, lines, and fills. I also own Illustrator and Flash, b...

If you check the User Manual, there's a keyboard shortcut for it ~ Click on a shape with the Select Shape tool, and then use the up/down arrow keys to move the shape forward or back. Hold down the Shift key while pressing the up/down arrow keys to move the shape to the top or bottom of a stack. (Pg ...

Welcome, Bonteberg! You will LOVE Anime Studio! Yes, there is a learning curve, and you have to somewhat abandon anything you've learned with other software until you understand AS, because it just works differently, but OH! When you start to understand it, it is SO EXCITING and FUN! You will soon f...

That is really smooth! I can see it as a swaying skirt very easily, or a cape with a flourish, so many different applications.selgin wrote:It's just a test, but imagine the possibilities.

SMITH MICRO Tutorials Link
I submitted a problem I was having to SM, and their VERY helpful Support department gave me a VERY prompt reply. The helped with my issue, and informed me that Smith Micro does NOT provide training support, but that they do offer training guides and videos to help Users become a Pro using their soft...

The vector painting tools of other applications (like Flash), as well as the more accurate vector drawing tools (like Photoshop and Painter), show that it is not an impossible task, just one that takes additional application programming. I would be happy if AS simply included Bezier Curve handle cap...

@Slowtiger - THANK YOU. I was trying to find that listing, but could not (I have a head cold this week, my brain is fuzzy).Using an incorrect FPS when your intent is to upload to YouTube does one no favors. (I wish Smith Micro would have the Time Line Numbers change when you change FPS. Seeing '10's...

Under Edit>Preferences, I would suggest changing the Default Interpolation from Smooth (the default) to Linear. I would also try increasing the FPS from 24 to 30FPS, which is the Video standard. 24FPS is the Film standard. Unless you plan on converting your animations to film, use 30. It is much smo...
