Fantastic! The color really helps and I love the animation. I'll have to look up some books with woodcut art to use in some animations when I visit the states. Did you do the "presto chango" with switch layers? Do you feel the colors helped reduce the moire effect(I didn't notice it so muc...

I thought I would try out something with a natural sketch look too. Using brush effects for the lines does cause that animated flickering though. The animation is too simple, looks like I'm just moving images. Trying to learn. udd. Here it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1ZP8IQB6Uc Also can't se...

Nice work, slowtiger. Makes me think of Larry Jordan a San Fransisco animator who used engravings for his surrealistic animated collages.
Is there any place to download such images from? How did you get those images?

It looks very good, I like the style you got using AS. I like when a background doesn't look too "vectorized", and yours doesn't. It is a good exercise to learn the fantastic AS drawing tools (even better if you have Fazek's drawing tools). Keep sharing your work. pd: it's great blog, isn...

Background Art in ASP

I was inspired by seeing the wonderful background art for different animations at http://animationbackgrounds.blogspot.com/ so I decided to create one in ASP just to practice using the drawing tools. I thought it came out pretty well. Here it is. Hope you like it. http://www.divshare.com/download/63...

I was curious about making rain so I tried out chucky's technique. Looks OK, but it took a while to render.

Hmmmm.... came out kind of blurry on the internet. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the knowledge!

Thank you for the nice program, but how do you actually organize (arrange) the files for your animation on your computer?

Thanks, udd.

OK, Thanks. That's a possible good idea. Do you think it would be better to create the art digitally?
