One way to get a fast background is using clipart. Especially vector clipart, you can export them into AI and import to AS. The amazon page says "Langue : Anglais" that's wrong, it's all in french.

If I do remember it correct, my Painter 3D was on the CD2 of my Poser 4.
And yes, it doesn't work on XP.
Maybe you can get Poser 4 in an older published version somewhere and maybe the Painter3D it is also on CD2.
Ahm, just an idea.
