Genete, you were right about my having duplicated a bone from a switch layer--it's good to know what caused the problem. I employed a work-around, but I'm going to go back and repair the bone rig anyway, using your step-by-step. I don't like the idea of having a bone rig that contains a bug. Thanks!...

You could post the file and I could look at the "text" and see if there is anything odd about the bones... not promising anything. Thanks for the generous offer, Vern, but I found a work-around. I simply found another use for the unwanted bone and moved it elsewhere in the rig and re-pare...

Can't delete bones

Hi. All of a sudden, I can't delete bones in a bone rig. I'm not doing anything fancy, just run-of-the-mill bones bound to vector layers and duplicated vector layers. I select the bone, I press the 'delete' key on the keyboard, and the application crashes. Over and over. I can't delete bones from th...

If those samples 'should' be there, then would somebody describe exactly which folder they are in, so I can tell him exactly where to look. Maybe he missed them. Tell him to look in C:\Program Files\e frontier\Anime Studio\Tutorials As far as I recall, all the examples mentioned in the tutorial wer...

Re: Anime Studio has no Group Layers?!?

Yes, using bone layers is the easy workaround, and does everything Group layers would normally do, it just doesn't look as pretty. Yeh. Seems like if there is a functional but inelegant work-around, then a company may as well include the utility that they're wanting to exclude. All the standard-fea...

Good luck with your project. I'm too busy to help. But even if I wasn't, I tend to avoid any project that doesn't have a cool website. You might consider building a website for your production company, one that includes some info about yourself and as much about your project as you can pack in. Just...

Anime Studio has no Group Layers?!?

Hi, Tony here. I love Anime Studio PRO. So I bought my friend a copy of Anime Studio (the cheaper version) as a gift, so he could learn to animate. So I'm talking with him on the phone, answering his tool-related questions, when I learn something about Anime Studio I didn't know. Anime Studio comes ...

Moho was an awesome animation program!!! Nonetheless, I think you made a great decision to put Moho on the Anime Studio superhighway. I want this program to get better and better, faster and faster, regardless of what it's called. And anything that helps that happen has my support. As awesome as Moh...

At first, Anime Studio was only working in Trial Mode. But I had been entering my old Moho serial number by mistake! After I entered the NEW serial number they sent in the email after downloading Anime Studio, Anime Studio opened in FULL mode. Just thought I'd share that, for anybody accidentally en...

Yow! Thanks, Miles! That was the problem. Anime Studio is now working in FULL mode, not TRIAL.

I didn't realize that my Moho serial number had been changed for Anime Studio. But...yes...there was the new serial number, in the email they sent!

D'oh!

:)

You know, now that I think about it...I entered my Moho serial number at the ContentParadise website, so why was I even SENT a trial version? I should've been sent the real deal, right? Again, what is happening? By the way, I like the nifty anime character with the bones that appears when you open A...

I tried downloading it 3 times. The first 2 times were in Safari, but Safari attached "html" on the end, so it wouldn't work. Then I tried Firefox and it worked. Anime Studio, however, won't accept my Moho serial number. It will only run in trial mode. I then erased the "html" pa...

Regarding changing the color... Try one more time, following these steps... Use the Select Shape tool and click on the shape. The shape should go all checkered. Look at the two small rectangles with color in them in the Style Window. Click in the top one. A window should now appear where you can pic...

Great post, Myles. Biscuit for you! Another quick way to get a gigantic file shrunk down to a tiny file... Save your animation as a MOV... Open the MOV file in QuickTime 7.0... Click Export under the File menu... Choose one of the handy compression options: Dial-up, broadband, etc. Ta-dah! :) Tony M
