I've been using this app for a while to do soundtracking manually for character animation. I even created an audio file to visually track frame number by waveform. (Currently defaulted at 15fps.) - http://www.bones3d.com/moho/15fps.wav It's not the most pleasing thing to listen to, but it can help a...

I typically keep no less than 1GB of RAM installed on any system I use for video work. Much of the system's RAM gets used by the OS and applications, leaving very little space for your video data to be recorded into. Once your data begins to exceed the amount of available RAM, your system begins pag...

If that backdrop is from a 3D modeling app, you might want to see if the app supports a depth of field blurring option. The character looks a bit out of place with the current blurring effect on the backdrop. Basically, the background should become progressively blurrier toward the horizon while the...

Have you tried using the comments area in your moho files' info window (ctrl-click on the icon and select "get info..." to bring it up) to do extended descriptions of of your files? The comments area isn't as limited in length as the filename. Also, try using directories in the finder to b...

Segmentation? Believe me, while I flamed in order to defend my prior works (in other forums) still I think that a little adjustament for different values and sensibilities , is not a bad thing. The point I was trying to make is that these kind of changes could unintentionally distort the message yo...

Controversy is a bad marketing, the last resource for failed artists. A little buzz is fine but only a little bit. I am covering all the scenes with the boobs and change the dialogues in a family oriented sense. Depends on the target audience. Personally, I'm in the "don't change it" camp...

Nice stuff. Just goes to show that complicated motion isn't always necessary to make a character convincing. 8)

Yeah, it's the mask. Masking gets a little complicated when it comes to maintaining outlines on overlapping objects. I first encounted this issue in early attempts to recreate anime styled art in moho. To correct this: 1. select the eye white layer in the layers window 2. click the duplicate layer b...

is there any feature that lets me loop blinking if so how? Yes and no... There isn't really an automated way to do this, but you can do this by copying and pasting keyframes in the timeline where needed. Here's an example of how to do this, using the slow blink file I uploaded earlier: First, selec...

User Cribble has a small example of this kind of movement in action, and has included a moho file you can play around with. - http://cribble.thecircadian.com/head_turn/ The method he uses works across four switch layers, each one transitioning into the next using tweening. It seems to work pretty we...

There's a couple ways one can go about creating a blink cycle... "fast" blinking and "slow" blinking. Both are fairly easy to pull off, but the "slow" version is a bit trickier to set up. - Fast Blinking - Typically, blinking is a fast motion which can be done in about ...

Manga Studio has full support for working in color already. It's basically up to the user whether or not they utilize it.
