Don't watch this movie

Really, don't even click on the link below to watch the movie. It is very bad.

Image

I just was in a bad mood and without imagination. 14 seconds of pure animated boredom.

Let's not get carried away here. Grey Kid offered to publish a tutorial book, not an unabridged version of their production methods and studio history. We can't expect them to give away all their studio secrets.

AWN forums had a thread about scanners for traditional animators. Of course, that's not the same as inputting pencil drawings for design, but a real concern of cheap scanners was that they aren't vary color accurate/sensitive, compared to more expensive scanners. Depending on how much scanning you n...

I agree. Preferably, it should be a global setting, for all bone type layers. Perhaps it could be added to the Bone menu.

Yes, I agree the image texture fill feature isn't very usable in this version of Anime Studio.

Of course, there already is a bug report section on this forum, so there's no need to start a new one.

Thanks for sharing. I liked the animation, although the story was a bit "dry". I guess that goes with the territory if you're doing PSAs.

Use an image layer and masking instead. http://i25.tinypic.com/4vlaxj.png On the left, I recreated your tie, using image texture. Same jaggies. On the right, I exported the fill without the texture and outline to a PNG image, and filled it with your pattern in an image editor. Next I imported it as ...

I was wondering, Vern, if it isn't somehow possible to "recalculate the points", so you can add points in one layer of a switch, and have the other layers in that switch be recomputed to have the same number of points in geometrically the same locations. That would make animating with swit...

It is not only the number of points, but also the exact orientation of the points. Points are numbered while you create them. For instance, if you create a rectangle clockwise and another counterclockwise, each in its own layer, and inside a switch layer, switch layer interpolation will move the poi...

No, that is not possible, but it probably is possible to synchronize one or several switch layers with a master switch layer, using master/slave layer scripts. For the casual observer it would appear to be almost the same as what you suggested.

You can only import .wav and .aif files into Anime Studio. However, if you export to .swf, you need to put an .mp3 file in the same folder as the .anme file.
