Sorry. But my point was that it could be the difference between whole numbers and fractions that's causing the sync to be off.

that may be an issue with how ASP divides 24 frames into a second and how FCP does it. Make sure FCP isn't using 23.976 fps, which is the video standard for PAL. I'm assuming you're editing in PAL format? If you're in the U.S., or other country that uses NTSC, you should be using 29.976 (or just 29...

I had a similar problem with audio sync. For files where I rendered out the audio with the animation, all was fine, but for some scenes I didn't get any audio for some reason. When I tried to match it up with the audio in Final Cut, the length of the audio was slightly off. It didn't match up. I tho...

Yes, I realized this after I wrote that. Thanks. It helps, along with naming the shapes. I was working on a cat character last night, and I ended up having about five shapes layered on top of each other. I'm not sure how that happened, but I wanted to eliminate the stroke on the outline and it would...

Thanks. I didn't know about the up and down arrow keys. There is no indication of that in the menu.

I would like key commands to raise and lower shapes in the stack, or even better, a way to assign layer order to them.

Thanks! I had tried using the set origin point for the layer, but then that ended up really messing up my bone set-up. I had pieces moving off the screen when I moved bones. I am used to resetting pivot points from using Lightwave 3D, but I guess this doesn't work the same way? Local coordinates vs....

I realize that. It's annoying. But, what I am asking is some way to know how many "shapes" I have when some of them can't be seen. I was using a hand from the default character and it has multiple curves, points welded across fingers and such. These can all have their own fill, but the who...

Too many shapes in one object

I was having difficulty with objects with multiple shapes associated with them. Say I have a simple circle. It can have both a fill and stroke associated with the whole object, but it can also have a separate "shape" on just the line, which is very confusing and hard to detect. This line s...

Parenting without changing layer order

Many times I wanted different objects parented together, but to do so I would have to change layer order, which would not work.

Bring back procedural textures!

This was a very cool feature of 5.6. I was very disappointed to see it gone in 6. WHY? There should be even more procedural textures. I would like the ability to create repeating patterns using vectors and fill shapes with them. Perfect for creating complex textures. There should be a "Paste In...

I agree about the spacebar. Most applications use the spacebar for play/pause and nothing else. I have accidentally created keyframes way too many times. If I don't notice this it really screws me up.

Use the enter key for welding, binding, etc.

I quite frequently need to import a company logo, so it would be nice if this import worked better, and I could reduce unnecessary points.

I had to do this on my last project and it was very time consuming. Complex drawings made AS crash or lock up.

I was also hoping for more control over the speed of the noisy lines, noisy fill.

I used this effect to make my characters shiver.
