Personally what I do is to copy/paste the content of each layers into a single layer, then select all and scale it up or down, then paste everything back to separate layers. If you install realplayer you can actually grab youtube videos, you just need to select the resolution you want then an icon appears on top of the video allowing you to grab it, or you can use tool like keepvid.com to grab the vids.
