Re: Kaiya Rig
For the time I spent with anime studio it has always been better to do point animation by dragging each vector to its proper position for movement with no bones besides for simple and basic movements as head tilts etc... Since its always smoother when and works better when it comes to the anime styl...

Re: Lip sync: Switch layers vs Smart Bones
It depends on the style. If I'm doing a Japanese anime style I will use switch layers. If you ever watched anime the lip sync is very simple so with switch layers you will make 3 different mouths which is open, half open, closed. Same goes for the different expressions as well. Now if we are doing a...

Subbed to him as well! I agree with everything he said! I know I don't work for free. Only when it came to charity and me and some friends creating a project... Besides that I don't work for free at all. Everyone needs to watch this!

Re: Japanese anime Run
To me the widths are way to big.... Like if you were doing a toon style it looks good... But for a anime style the widths just don't match.. But over all the animation isn't bad.

To develop any skill set you need to practice, practice and practice. Is like if you were asking how to draw? or how to dance? or how to be good at a sport? http://youtu.be/l6WNWe4xFng http://youtu.be/SCW9D2GytHo http://youtu.be/BpGiuxkusuk I know that...
