The big problem for me was version 7. For some reason the multicore rendering has problems with large images and 3d objects. On my computers I'll get either frames with no antialiasing or even empty frames unless I start up my computer with only one core running. Version 7 also had the switch layer...

Ok, sound like a better idea. I usually only work with add point tool but was thinking I was missing out on a faster workflow with the freehand tool. Thanks.

I've created a shape with the Freehand tool. It has too many points on it and I want to reduce the points / optimise the shape.
Normally I would manually remove points and adjust the curves etc.
But was wondering if there is a quicker way to do it? I can't see an optimise/smooth shape tool.
