Regarding batch rendering, there is a batch rendering mode in the Moho GUI - select the File->Batch Export menu command. By golly, so there is a batch renderer ... Didn't realise that is what the exporter did. This is going to make life easier from now on. And by golly, it renders all the scenes to...

Studio production issue - things to help series production.
The release of 5.3 has been a Godsend for production, resolving most of the serious issues, such as the fine lines. 5.3 is at a stage where it is of interest to larger TV production faciliteis. There are a few re relatively simple inclusions/changes will make large productions managable more economi...

Looks very promising. BTW, the link on the post to the 5.2 zip file generates a 404 error. The quoted link is http://www.lostmarble.com/misc/render_quality/moho_win32_5.2.1rt.zip. The actual url is http://www.lostmarble.com/misc/render_quality/moho_win32_5.2.1rt2.zip Besides the line render proble, ...

Alter the default camera settings?
I have found that using a Camera Z setting of 10 instead of 1.7321 makes the line control of objects better (ie, I can have a much smaller line weights to objects - this gets around the priblem that lines canot be less than 1). But I need to do this every time and if I forget its lots of work to rep...

Adding new mouth shapes - error message
I want to add my own mouth shapes to Papagayo - I didn't like a couple of the shapes and wanted to use the actual library shapes the aniamtors work with. . I figured out where the mouth jpg library is and did a copy and paste of Mouth 1: I renamed this MyChar1. I ran Papagayo. It generates this erro...

Standard NTSC TV ratio is 4:3 (4 wide, 3 high). I have an issue with this advice. The thinking in commercial studios for the past 4-5 years has been use 16:9 for all new projects . Why? Very simple - its called future-proofing. All new commissioned work is in widescreen, even if the braodcaster is ...

How do I use DV Export Codecs?
At the present time, the choices of output are wither Full AVI uncompressed (big files) or opne of the "old" codex such a Radius. Most of the modern video packages support the later DV codecs. On this machine I have several good DV codecs but they do not show up in the output options. Is t...

Papagayo - display of the loaded sound file name
I have been doing a lot of work with Papagayo recently. The one niggle I have is that the name of the loaded sound file is not displayed. If you are working with one or two files, its nt a problem. Try this with 100 files and you see the problem - you forget what file you have loaded - when you come...

Nice idea, thanks for your input. I thought about that. That's one reason i didnt want to get outside help, but I have a tight schedule and can not do it alone. I don't know how i'd put it in writing. You think i should make something for people to sign or what? The only thing i was thinking of is ...

Cartwright, Something to considerwhen working on a volunteer project like this: You mention that you want to turn this into a TV series. If someone designs the characters for you for free, who will own the rights to that character. You need to solve this up from, and in writing. Because if you get T...
