Re: How to avoid bone vibration?

Do they always vibrate or in some circumstances?
I've encountered this on some rare occasions and then it was usually due to some complex character setup with many folders nested in each others with motion in different directions.
Can you share your anme-file and image sources?

...What do you mean render in passes? Is there a specific function to do that or is that a strategy? Passes might be the wrong term. It's used heavily in 3d rendering where there's different passes for light, animation, shadows etc. which then are composited. There is no special funtion in AS in th...

Render in passes. (an anme-file per pass) If you have a static scene with no camera movements you can render your background and various props as single images. Render characters as one pass each. If you need to change a little animation on one character you only have to rerender this and not the wh...

... ps2: looking around in the forum "your animation" I have only seen short animation and very simple. Do you know someone who has created a real cartoon with anime studio? Well, thank you. Right now I'm doing a trilogy of short films, 3x12 minutes, in anime studio. Before that I did a 3...

Render to an image sequence (png), then convert this into a movie. 10 hour render is a lot to redo if render crashes or output is broken. With image sequences you can continue where render crashed without loosing any already rendered frames. I use Ffmpeg for conversions, it exists for windows also. ...

I know you did it manually but here's a short formula on how to get backward compability if you need it for another time: Save an AS7-file as AS8 then do a diff on them to see what has been changed (diff AS7.anme AS8.anme) Then do some sed to remove or change differences. (Both diff and sed should b...

Nice tutorial Selgin. A question though, why do you split your shapes with a line that is hidden anyway? Wouldn't you get the same result by just adding the points, without a line?

I can't reproduce white edges. here's my test result: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2811229/TEMP/AnimeStudio/AS-white-edge-test_full.png No white edges but alphas a bit tinted which is a known bug. Here's a render of the overlay on transparent bg: [img]http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2811229/TEMP/AnimeStudio/AS-w...
