Everyone should install Fazek´s Translate tool. It is soooooooooooooo much better than Moho´s Translate tool. With Fazek´s Translate tool you can: -Select multiple points with by holding down the Shift key (can´t do that with Moho Translate tool). -Select multiple points by click and dragging over ...

I now see my mistake - After selecting the multiple points I was then clicking on one of the points to drag them all. This deselected the others. I should just drag without touching any points with the Translate tool cursor. And I just noticed that one can drag the Translate cursor tool and select m...

Check out scripts Fazek has been creating

As one who rarely enters into the Scripts Forum section I recently downloaded the tools that Fazek has written. Link: http://www.lostmarble.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3507 I would recommend that everyone try them out. Working with Moho is much less clumsy and smoother using Fazek´s tools vs. the Moho...

Question/Request on the Translate Points tool: Is it possible to make it so that one can select more than one point on a line with the Translate tool? With the Translate tool it seems one can select either one point or all points in a line/shape. What if I want to select 2, 3 or different points? In...

Fazek - thanks for the details on each tool! I am slowly starting to work with your tools and I noticed that they create a smoother workflow to create art with and then manipulate it. Moho tools are so clumsy and awkward in the back and forth clicking of tools to do the simplest of things. (Sometime...

Fazek - you are doing some very interesting scripting. I downloaded the tools part and am trying them out. Could you do me (and others, I am sure) a favor and explain the advantages of your tools over Moho´s versions? Why should I have two versions of the Freehand, Create Shape, Scale Points, Paint...

Vern, I hope you get to try the new Moho Paintbucket soon. I think you mentioned you had a PC. I would almost recommend putting Moho on the PC - it works a lot snappier- well, on my Mac vs. PC anyway. (And you don´t have to buy Mac OSX 10.4 to get the newest Moho updates. To quote LM on update 5.4: ...

Whew! Complicated stuff you do. Good luck. Better just to draw in a vector program and export to Moho or just draw in Moho. Photoshop is not a vector drawing program. The test "vectors" I exported from Photoshop and imported into Moho were basically worthless (no color, shape way off - tak...

What I need is the curves exported to a common vector-format, such as .ai or .eps. You can´t do it. Moho vectors are spline-vectors like one sees in Hash Animation Master. From what I understand this is not the same vector-format used in common vector-based Illustration programs. (I have never trie...

Vern: You say about Photoshop: "I also export these vectors to Moho on occassion as AI format. " Which version of Photoshop are you using? Mine can´t do that. The simple vectors it exports have no color, are misshaped and well...worthless. It would be better just to draw them in Moho. How ...

heyvern - So how do you like the new Paintbucket tool? Use it a lot? Got any tips on how best to integrate into one´s animation process the best? And your "Use that other $99 animation program..." so that is the cut to the chase, bottom line with everything Moho - it ONLY cost $99 so be ha...

Photoshop is bitmap software. The granddaddy of all graphics software. The king of the hill. Import in a vector drawing into Photoshop and it automatically rasterizes it - no longer a vector. One cannot draw vectors in Photoshop - one uses Adobe Illustrator for vector drawings. From the Adobe Photos...

All you guys get prizes for finding Paintbuckets in other programs. Congrats!!! And DOES THE Flash PaintBucket work like the Moho PaintBucket??? In Flash does the Paintbucket not work once there is color in the shape or if the shapes overlap or the shape is out of the viewing area or etc, etc, etc? ...

If you can post updates and progress reports on the animation process and any other tidbits of information, that would be very interesting.

Fireworks is the Macromedia (now Adobe) equivalent of Photoshop. It does have a few very limited vector possibilities and it is also allows one to make HTML pages and generate external Cascading Style Sheets for interactive pop-up menus, but I would not compare it to GoLive or Dreamweaver. Macromedi...
