Funny Vern, that's exactly how I set up my project, with the scripts inside the scripts folder below the anme file and all inside a project file. Unfortunately that wasn't good enough for AS. That's why I was surprised that it didn't work and the anme file as I pasted in one of the last posts was lo...

M,
I'm not that naiive to believe that my feelings would change anything of this nature, I have never said that and I never will.
I do however thing ASPRO does need development, whether it gets it or not.

If you can't do something as simple as that, open in the anme in wordpad and use the find function, type 'meshintance'- for instance ;) that way you will quickly find what you are looking for, in my case it was layer_script "c:/Documents and Settings/CHUCKY/Desktop/BAMBOO/scripts/meshinstance/s...

Yes, Mad,
that was the case, luckily I had been working off desktop so I moved the files to the desktop on the tablet and , boomshanka, all worked correctly.

Hey dood ,funny you should say that, I just had the exact same experience on my tablet. I expected the meshinstance and aimbones to come through but I guess the anme file is expecting an absolute path not a relative one. I think you can change that in the anme file by opening it up as text. If that ...

Hi M Kelley, Don't get me wrong with what I am about to say, I am not frothing at the mouth when I say this  l can't imagine why you could think that this software has come as for as it needs. Are Disney still painting on cels....?.... no.... Of course As is cool software, but surely, if even ...

l actually disagree with the idea that anime studio has come as far as it needs to . I think just as the horse and cart became the automobile, so should AS become something more than it currently is. If Mike is really developing similar tools for flash, (puke) surely that would be a conflict of inte...

your will have to download Vern's gravity layer script first. Apply gravity to the top parent bone layer placed on the head or body. The skeleton rig of the rag doll has dynamics placed on all its bones. that skeleton is a child of the gravity bone.... voila!

What about Maxxon body paint ?It comes built in to cinema 4d. I think c4d has taken up where p3d left off, and I do believe it IS good for character animation and is priced OK for around $800.00 (too rich for me at the mo' though). I have had it with animation master, it is way to clunky and slow an...

I would have no idea where to get it, sorry Gustavo.
I would love to see it come back though, they have the old code, it just needs updating and a few bells and whistles.
I think painter really missed the boat when they discontinued this software.

good stuff jhbmw, very clean and professional, I like the thick black outline , did you use layer shadow or meshinstance for that.
I can't get a sharp line using layer shadow for that effect, so I have gone without.
What's the secret, large render and resize in post maybe?

Does anyone remember painter 3d? You can paint dirextly on to 3d models just like in newer apps like maxxons bodypaint, zbrush and the like. Of course it wasn't as advanced, but it had that beaut painter interface that is soo great. I've been in contact with the dev team at corel they inform me that...
