Hi Giles, I have pre-ordered your tutorials and so looking forward to them. Would you be able to add a section on how to animate hair dynamically and also a decent head turn with dialogue (is it possible to do that with a blendmorph or some other way) so as to get a fluid movement? I don't know, jus...

Hi Fahim, I am a new user to AS and also to animation. I bought my copy of AS just before version 8 was released so was entitled to a free upgrade. :D Prior to buying AS I bought Crazytalk Animator Pro, but was quickly turned off as I could not create my own characters and props from within the prog...

Hi All, Thank you for all the comments. After reading all the posts and doing my own research, it is clear that most people working on their own don't bother with storyboarding software or prefer to use paper and pencil. I have decided to use the Lost Doodle Tool to make very rough drawings from wit...

Storyboard Tools is an actual piece of software.
You can download it here:
http://www.freefilmsoftware.co.uk/
It would not install on my main computer, but I tried installing it on my second laptop and it installed with no problem. They are both Win 32bit and running Windows XP Professional.

Papagayo - Singing Tutorial?
Hi All, Just wondered if there was a tutorial on how to lip sync singing using either ASP or better still, Papagayo. If anyone knows of one, could they point me in the right direction. Earlier today I watched a Papagayo tutorial by MKelley and he mentioned that he would do one if people requested it...

Hi Jonbo, Thanks for the response. I have just watched Funksmaname's video tutorial and he explained there what to do with the file. This is absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to get stuck in. His tutorials are really clear which is great for a beginner like me who wants to run before they can walk ...

OMG! What I had done was renamed my original lm_select_shape.lua file by putting an underscore in front of it, just so that I did not delete it. I then removed the file altogether from the script folder and saved it somewhere else. All seems to be working as it should. Wow. I have been trying to sol...

Hi NeetersGuy, Thank you for your help. I have done everything to the letter according to your instructions, but there are no options when I use the select tool. The only thing that is different, is that I have a new tab in my Tools palette called OTHER and underneath that is a question mark where a...
