Re: My Walk ruler - easily make non sliding walks
I have modified ITAK's idea a little bit: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13472834/animation/walking.gif walking.anme You can import this in your project (you have to scale it and move it to fit). So it is easy to generate a walking animation: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/13472834/animati...

Re: AS11?
I think there are enough bugs to fix in AS 10 before they should think about to release a new main version.

Add a Layer Marker
If I press on "Reset All Layer Channels" I get a new track in the timeline called "Layer Markers". After that, I can add, edit and create such layer markers.
How I can add a new layer marker without pressing "Reset All Layer Channels" before?

Re: Best solution for a "walk on the spot" animation
That is a god hint. Thanks! The only thing you have to do after a "longer nose repainting" for example is to reset all your animation reset points in the timeline again to overwrite them with the new base geometry. It would be useful to have an "Auto-Reset-Action" that uses the 0...

Re: Best solution for a "walk on the spot" animation
Thanks! There some cool ideas in this thread! :D I don't know why Anime Studio is so focused on "Making a funny movie and upload it to YouTube". There are some other fields and areas of application that requires animations. For example games. It would be very useful, for example, to genera...

AS 10 - Bones slipping after unlocking a bone
If I unlock a bone during my animation, some connected bones of the unlocked bone are slipping a little bit. It seems like a bug. Here an example. Open it, move to frame 32 and unlock the bone number 31. You see a little slip in the animation that makes impossible to continue the animation: https://...

Best solution for a "walk on the spot" animation
I use Anime Studio to generate animations to use them in computer games later. Therefore I need to animate (for example walk) my character on the spot. What is the best way to do that? Generating a temporary layer with the underground, that I move with a constant speed under the character as a refer...

Better zoom functions
1. Zooming in to the point where the mouse cursor is
2. Rectangle zoom (that is a basic feature in ALL graphic programs in know)
At the moment the workflow is awfull. You have to switch between zooming and panning. With the first point above you can work with zoom (mouse wheel) only.

Re: Manual: Group layers in Debut
You can open the *.anme file with a text editor and input layer_type 3 { name "New Folder" ... other layers .... } in the layer section. Save and reopen it in Anime Studio. And the new folder is visible. There are some other things you can turn on/off with a simple text editor if you have ...

Difference between "Bind Layer" and "Flexi-Binding"
I am very confused. Why there are 2 different functions with the same result? With "Bind Layer" I can only bind one bone to a layer. With "Flexi-Binding" I can bind more then one bones to a layer. This leads to the question: Why is the "Bind Layer" function existent? If...

Re: SVG import
Yes, the problem of Anime Studio is the restriction to symmetric nodes only. By the way, the smoothing control in Inkscape with the little bars at the right and the left is very intuitive and easy to handle. The "Curvature" control in Anime Studio is very restrictive and not easy to handle.
