On the surface, it does seem "doable". After all, the bones when attached to a vector layer are just morphing the points in the vector layer based on the position of the bone. So taking that info one frame at a time and putting the hybrid vector layer that has taken it's points from the bo...

Cool. So I suppose, I could have the Moho file on 3 computers, and on the first computer, I only render frames 0-300, second, 301-600, third 601-900, and then use a movie editor to combines the videos? Yes, that is probably the easiest way to do it without too much trouble or extra software. Here i...

I use Flash 7 and everyone I talk too says I am way behind the times! Not necessarily... some of it is forced. Macromedia.. (well, Adobe) has said that they will not be releasing the Flash player version 8 for linux. This is also unfortunate because there is an issue with the Flash player version 7...

Re: A few questions: network render, transferring actions

Hello, I was wondering if it was possible to: 1) Do a network render (let all networked computers share the render) It is possible to do a render on the command line with moho. You will need to break out individual pieces of your animation into chunks to do a network render (i.e. moho can't break u...

I too really liked the look of the colors, and my daughter (who's 8) really liked them as well. You should combine some of them into a longer work, maybe with some lip sync!

On the plus side the first thing I thougfht of when you said this is of Osmosis Jones which hopefully means I have begun the transmogrification to animator. Managing to hang in there, getti...

I can't recommend this highly enough. I use it for just jotting down ideas, and then dragging and dropping them around as I brainstorm and then organize ideas later. I also use it for organizing DVD menus and submenus. Makes it handy to drag and drop trees of submenus easily. It's a great tool for o...

Bupaje,

This is really cool! I envious of all the things you get to try in your classes.

Sorry that I didn't reply sooner, I've been away from the computer for a couple of weeks (was in the hospital with a weird resistant staph infection!!).

When you rotate the bone, it will rotate around the origin (the point the bone is pointing from) and the other end of the bone will swing around. Is this what you're asking?

I wasn't going to join in this discussion (though I did think that your animation was quite good, Zeb, even though I didn't agree with the content. I didn't want to shoot the messenger because of the message. Um, what if you're wrong? Isn't this kind of a bad reason for having faith in a religion? F...

Do you mean to use a "step" keyframe instead of a "smooth" keyframe? On your timeline, rightclick on your keyframe to choose the keyframe type.
