My explanation was not clear. The two images don't cover the whole project area, think of a donut and a slice of swiss cheese in front of a house. I want to preserve the transparent parts of the donut and the cheese as the wipe goes by.slowtiger wrote:Given that both images cover the whole project area

If the images themselves don't move, you just need 1 mask, in the group on top. Only the mask moves. It is like a wipe from one scene to another. Image A and B are now put in a parent group P. The mask M is above A and B in group P? I can get M to reveal or hide both A and B in such a structure. Bu...

mask so one layer appears while one disappears
Is there an easy way to have a wipe which blocks one layer and shows another? I'd like to have a wipe like those old batman shows. I can only think of using a brute force method, and then somehow copying the two masks. Could have two rectangle shapes both controlled by the same bone. One rect adds t...

Are there any steps, documented or otherwise, we should take when we upgrade a minor version of ASPro say from 6.1 to 6.2?

Re: short term multicore fix
Thanks for the suggestion rogermate, but I think funksmaname has already tried that (see page 13 of this thread). It seems that as long as AS starts up with all cores enabled, you will still encounter the bug, even if you confine AS to a single core before rendering. I'm wondering if there is some ...

short term multicore fix
totally fine in AS6... its a multicore rendering bug - AS7 only Obviously we'd want the bug fixed, but there is likely a way around the problem. You can set the "Affinity" for a process - in other words define which processors a program would be limited to run on. In this case you would s...

Re: Anime Studio 6.1 freeze
Hello everyone I am a newbie and although I used to have anime 5.6 I have just upgraded to 6.1 . My problem with the new 6.1 is whenever I click the input "text" either on the tools palette or via the menu, the programme freezes. I am using a vector layer. Am I doing something wrong ? BTW...

Re: Bone morph dials script
Hi Rudiger,
Just curious if your morph dials script is best with 6 or 7, or if 7 breaks it.
