Re: Chaotic

Has any one seen an animated series called "Chaotic" on any of the cable TV networks? The style and method of animation looks like something that can be duplicated using Anime Studio Pro. Anyone have any comments or opinions on this? Thanks in advance, Gustavo I try to watch Chaotic every...

Banjar, 1. You can import swatches in PNG form. Just drop then into the swatches folder or choose 'custom' palette (ASP only). But yeah, we really need a pixel color picker. 5. The VTC maker apparently hasn't learned the AS drawing tools. Most everyone who makes a concerted effort to learn them lov...

Coming from Flash, I am still learning this program so if I am covering stuff that is already in the program but that I have missed in how to use it, then please forgive my stupidity. These are things that I would like to find in the next version: 1. Color Picker like Toon Titan for Flash. But also ...

I've been doing a bunch of scripting lately and something just hit me... Many of the features requested could be done with scripting right now... with out waiting for a "new version". If the next "great feature" were to be limited to just one... it would be more access to the ap...

To make South Park kind of people:

1. Move to Alabama.

2. Marry your cousin.

Toon Titan looks like a good program but I think that it only works in Flash.

about voice talents and speaking in a cartoon in general: in a lot of todays cartoons /and also the old ones/ the original english voice talents are probably very good, but they never make it to non-english speaking countries. they simply got erased :) I like the cartoons, Finding Nemo, Cars, etc (...

Banjar, I'm not having a go at you but, it looks like you've missed the vital ingredient here, there's more to character than a vocal gymnastics and the situations they are placed into. Character as you know from the people you know around you comes from the choices we make. Like this one..... I do...

I don't learn very well from instructional videos either. The voice-over irritates me. I prefer a clearly written manual with lots of carefully chosen illustrations. Only if a sequence of actions is explained I may find a video useful. For anything software related video is a poor choice because I ...

A strong story is always at the top of the list. Of course, the particular niche determines your choices, from single panel cartoon to full feature or a series of shorts, all set the limits to what you can do with character development. Thus, TIME is a big factor, how much time do you have to develo...

Great advice on this thread!!! True story: My Dad interviewed with Walt Disney back before WWII. Walt offered him $20 per week as a tweener. My Dad said, "Sorry, I need $40 per week to make it worth while." Walt replied, "Forty dollars! I don't even make that!" There was no money...

I'm sorry Banjar, I was criticizing the book and video tutorials more than the newbies. Many people do seem to need a direct question-answer sort of learning. I didn't mean to imply any deficit of intelligence. Maybe these learning tools are worth the money. I just wonder since people who have used...

The character is all rigged and moves nicely but it won't move into Z depth. Check if you have 3D camera enabled in the project settings. Okay, two beers. Maybe a barrel. When's Oktober Fest? In October? :D Man, this software is starting to make my hair stand on end ... it is so darned cool. Wow! L...

You know lately I've seen many very basic questions coming from people who have purchased either the Murdock book or these video tutorials. Doesn't give me much faith in either of these products. It seems that some of the people who would have trouble with the included user's manual, have similar t...

If you just use flexible binding, every bone effects the whole image (or the whole project area if you use vector shapes). That's because the images has its "warp image with bones" box checked (see image layer attributes). AS can only treat the image as a whole and not exclude any area of...
