Re: I'm done. (edit: okay lets talk about this)
In regards to your issue, have you tried turning down the display quality? Oh, yes. Even on the lowest settings, I'm getting frequent crashing. Do you have GPU acceleration enabled? Do you have a discrete graphics card and is your computer using it for AS? I always had GPU acceleration disabled, be...

Re: I'm done. (edit: okay lets talk about this)
@sargumphigas That sounds frustrating. I'm not even using any of those new features; I'm just trying to animate one of my AS10 rigs, and AS11 crashes when I select the transform bone tool--it doesn't crash every time I use the tool, but the transform bone tool definitely triggers it... @DK Thank you...

Re: I'm done. (edit: okay lets talk about this)
I'm with you guys on the crashing part. AS10 crashed a lot for me as well, but it was somewhat tolerable; AS11's crashing is not . The program crashes so damn frequently that I've had to force myself to save every time I add a keyframe. I get that my projects are on the demanding side, but the newes...

Re: Dear Timeline, please zoom where I'm working.
After zooming, if you press either the right or left arrow key (to navigate through the timeline), the timeline window should scroll automatically to wherever your "red bar" moved; that way, you don't have manually scroll through the timeline to find your "red bar" after every ti...

The Dam Keeper
In the midst of all the Oscar hype, my focus has been entirely on this animated short. I haven't even been able to see it in full, but from what I've seen in the trailers, clips, behind the scenes, and soundtrack, The Dam Keeper is looking gorgeous, both visually and emotionally. mTd3J1GFC5M The you...

Re: Silent Night
Wow. Thanks everyone! As a side note, I do prefer your previous character eye style. The new style makes the character look really agitated/frenetic which generally doesn't seem to fit your work. It's funny, I was told this on my last post as well, and I had never even noticed the difference, myself...

FPmPHGBJ7aw Every year, I make a Christmas animation, but I only share them with family and friends, because the animations are always rushed and I'm not all that proud of them. But, this year, my Christmas animation turned out differently. I made this in 4 days--extremely rushed, yes--and I export...

Re: Updated WhiteLand Character Rig
Thank you, ddrake and LY. His eyes are wide opened as if he's surprised by something; it's an extreme eye size--yeah... my animation fails to actually show his default eye size... my bad. Yes, each hair segment is going through a cycle with the keyframes of each segment offset slightly from the rest...

Updated WhiteLand Character Rig
So far, my first year of college hasn't given me a whole lot of free time to animate. I've only worked on a few rigs, and this one isn't even complete, but I thought I'd share it anyways. xVvf5iynrsQ Yeah, it's an updated rig of my main character from WhiteLand (also my profile pic). I finally figur...

Thanks synthsin. I just tried that, and the export has made progress, but very slowly as expected. I'm just glad to see it making some progress.

Can't render with particle effects...
For those of you who have seen my work, you probably know that I like to use a lot of particle effects... I'm well aware that particle effects take a long time to render, and I've been in situations where I've willingly waited days to export a few seconds of heavy particle effects. However, after up...

Re: A sample panoramic I just finished.
I really like how you animated the different layers of clouds at different speeds. As do I. However, I noticed a minor flaw in the parallax as the camera starts moving. The layer of clouds behind the mountains moves faster than the layer of mountains in front of it. I suppose the speed of the wind ...

Re: Composted Music video: Sausage Cathedral
Didn't see or simply didn't notice the repeating of sequences. Considering that type of thing has been done for decades I wouldn't knock off points even if I did notice it. I can remember television programs done in the 80's that reused sequences all the time (watch reruns of The A-Team or 6 Millio...
