Random crash when dragging (points, bones etc)

We are six animators who are using Anime Studio Pro 5.5 heavily every day on Windows XP SP2 machines. We are experiencing random cases of the program crashing (complete crash, no other option than to restart), and the crashes seem to be connected to dragging or translating bones, layers or points. I...

BUG: breakdown is always 24 fps

When we load a wav file, set the frame per second to 25, the breakdown always stops to soon. You can't drag the words all the way to the right. It seems like the breakdown is stuck in 24 fps. The last frames you can't reach seems to be one frame for every second of sound, therefore this is probably ...

New script/tool: rotate heads (3D)

Hi, I've just started looking into LUA programming, and have come up with a modification of the layer rotate X and Y tools. The new tool, "Rotate Heads", combines both these tools in one, and sets both keyframes when you use it. You can use SHIFT to just rotate the X axis and ALT to constr...

I took the liberty of modifying your delete key script to delete all frames from 2 and out. It works quite well, but only on one layer at a time. It was really slow and crashed when I tried to make it delete sublayer keyframes as well. The only thing is that it doesn't delete switchlayer, bone lock ...

Thanks for your reply. I tried the scale keyframes option, and it almost worked. It seems it didn't keep the scaling and flipping keys, and lead to some strange poses for our characters :) But your idea lead me to the "copy current frame" menu item, which I discovered was a very nice thing...

Delete all animation except frame 1

We're in full production of an animated TV-series, and have a lot of similar scenes that we need to animate. When setting up characters from one scene to the next we use the previous scene, copy the last pose to frame 1 and start deleting all the animation from the scene. Very time-consuming stuff. ...

Thanks for all the replies so far. Our design does not use outlines and it is very noticeable at all places where two shapes meet. This would probably not affect anyone who uses outlines on their stuff. Rasheed: It's not really straight lines that are the problem, it happens with both angular and so...

Here is an example file. If you render it, you will see some artifacts/extra pixel at some of the edges, or a lack of pixels where there should be some. http://www.machineboy.com/files/pixelledEdgeProblem.anme This only applies when using shapes without outlines. http://www.machineboy.com/files/pixe...

Rendering bug on two intersecting shapes

http://www.machineboy.com/files/pixelerror.jpg We are experiencing an annoying bug when rendering objects that have two intersecting shapes. Maybe the above isn't the best example, but it shows that an extra bump or pixel is rendered at the point that two shapes share. It seems to only happen when ...

Diable outlines as default

We've just finished of a rather large pilot project in AS, and during production one thing really bugged us: How can you define a style to have NO outline? The Enable outline is always greyed out when creating a style. Our design style doesn't really use outlines, and we spent a lot of time manually...

Audio bug when selecting part of timeline

When you have imported an audio file and select only a part of the timeline to play or export, the sound always starts from the beginning, not from the frame you selected as the starting frame. This makes it impossible to render out separate pieces with audio sync. The audio display is correct in th...
