Re: character design wip
I like them. I think you've made improvements. I don't really get the feeling that they are "fishy" though. If they're supposed to be like fish in some way, you might want to emphasize their fishness. I think the girl kinda reminds me of Aubrey Plaza, but without a nose. http://www.sefijao...

Re: making game by anime studio
Nice work! It's interesting to see part of how this game was created.

Re: blur the background
Also, in Layer Settings, you could enter a number in the Blur Radius box. If you want it to change during the animation, you could check the allow animated layer effects box and set keyframes for the value in the Blur Radius box.

Me and my cat - animated
I did this animation to work on the look and style for a possible series. I created animated versions of myself and my cat Bob. The story is just what happens on a daily basis. I addition to Anime Studio, I used GIMP to create backgrounds and prepare photos for tracing. I did the editing in Lightwor...

Re: Problem with sound export!
I think this is an issue with certain codecs. Like the person above, I had the audio cut-off using avi as well. When I rendered using QuickTime's Animation codec, which is lossless, there were no problems with the audio. This format was also a good choice for the editing app I'm using, Lightworks. U...

Re: Altering frames per second in project, keeping audio in
(You shouldn't use any application which only allows you one fixed frame rate.) That isn't the case exactly. It only allows standard frames rates for video. 24 fps is not one of them. There probably is some way to convert it using 3:2 pulldown, but I couldn't find it. It is an application that's be...

Re: Altering frames per second in project, keeping audio in
Did not no about the re-compute keyframes option. Thanks!
I moved the keyframes by hand. Luckily for the second part of the animation I had set everything correctly.
Here is the final result:

Re: Problem with sound export!
I am also having this problem, but I am using AS8 Pro. The sound is fine while I'm working on the animation, but when I export, I get bursts of static after loud sounds play. My audio levels are within normal limits, nothing is pegged. I tried lowering the volume of the clips, saving the animation t...

Altering frames per second in project, keeping audio in sync
I recently started working on an animation and I just started with the default settings, not thinking much about it. 24 fps was okay with me at the time, but now that I want to edit, it's not acceptable. I just started using Lightworks to do my editing. Lightworks doesn't have a 24 fps option, so no...

I don't have the final commercial yet, but it's been on cable already for about a week. I was asked to make several changes, some we were asked to make after the deadline for airing, so it will even change from the version that's showing now on TV. One whole scene had to be cut altogether, but it wa...

Yes. Did you draw the motorcycle in Anime Studio? or import it from another program? Is that bike chain rigged to animate? or will it just be static? As people said above, try drawing things in a bitmap program; Photoshop or GIMP or the like and importing the png files. Simplify your vector drawings...
