Unfortunately that command line render does not allow you to choose CPU and I'm guessing the process to do so will be more cumbersome than just running multiple instances of AS. Also, as you note, those of us in Windows don't have a progress bar. If you are using Windows, there is no difference in ...

As far as I know, the rendering in AS is single threaded. This implies only one core is used for rendering. If the processing speed of this core is less than the processing speed of one core in your old system, it could very well be that the rendering is slower. I think this is a generic issue, not ...

Which Quicktime version on Windows are you using?
I currently have quite an old version op QT installed (7.1.3). For me my installation is quite stable and I would like to prevent issues when upgrading to newer versions. I purchased a new IPod and it requires a new version of iTunes which in its turn requires a newer version of QT. Which version of...

How about JPG/PNG sequence... That should work. It didn't make much difference for me, I rendered out to a png sequence and whenever I started the rendering from within the AS user interface, it resulted in output comparable to the output shown earlier in the thread. Rendering through the command l...

I once had files that didn't render either and showed the simular output you have. I suspected my issue was memory relatedl. I could render the files with the command line mode of AS. Seems this mode of AS consumes less memory and more images can be loaded. Perhaps you could give it a try using the ...

Hi Toonertime, I started my project using the project settings 1024/576 and 25 frm/s. When I saw the announcement of Mytoons HD I changed the settings in my project to 1280/720 (still with 25 frm/s). My project is rendered in AS Pro as a png image sequence and I use premiere to create a quicktime (t...
