This is brilliant. Thanks for sharing this, slowtiger. What a great tool.

Re: Copy & paste buttons version9

Actually, it's always bugged me that I couldn't use Copy, Paste and Delete keyboard commands to manage the keyframes, like I can in every other graphics and animation program I use. I've always felt that the button-only method was a slow-down for the work flow. Seems like they could have put in both...

Re: A counter

That's brilliant, slowtiger! Thanks for sharing it. I needed to do this last year for an animation and I never thought of switch layers.

Re: Get back all the export formats that I used to have?

Do you have Quicktime installed on your computer? If not, then the codec isn't there and ASPro can't use it. If you have an older version of Quicktime, then maybe it needs to be updated. If the codec is there ASPro 9 should see it.

Re: Mac Workflow

Hi Thrashador, I can't give you an answer about the USB question, or about the 3 or 4 terabyte drive on the 2011 MacBook. I use an iMac at work and at home. My home one is older, slower and smaller, so most of this is about the one at work, which is not 2 years old yet (of course, computers, it seem...

Re: World Book Day - Animated Digital Card

Wow! That is brilliant! It's a fine example of what can be done with our humble little AnimeStudio Pro; thinking outside the box and using the tool in an extremely creative way. Another fine job, Selgin. And thank you also for the "making of" video - it's like a full tutorial in a heartbea...

Re: Problem with OpenType fonts?

Open Type fonts are available in ASPro 9 on my Mac, but ASPro doesn't handle text very well, I've found, no matter what type of font it is. It seems to treat the text like a drawn object, not like a text object as Illustrator does, for example. You can edit the text, but the outlines of the letters ...

Re: Mac hotkey

In the Shortcuts section of the help it says PgUp and PgDown zoom in and out of the timeline when you're in Graph Mode. It works, as long as there are some key frames in it. In the regular Timeline you have to use the little magnifying glass tools that are at the right side of the timeline.

Re: Writing a tutorial, some input would be nice.

I'll throw in my two cents here. I agree with jahnocli, I don't like tutorials that only show what the person is clicking on with no commentary - they're too hard to follow. The resolution of the video usually isn't good enough to really see what the cursor is doing and you don't know why they're do...

Are you talking about Flash or Anime Studio? Where is the Pencil Mode modifier in Anime Studio?

Yeah, I've been missing the Splotchy effect since they took it out. I used to use it a lot. I'm glad they came to their senses and put it back in.
