I miss the channel box. I'd love to have all of the values for an object (especially bones) in one dialogue instead of tool sensitive. When it switched tool sensitve, it became significantly more cumbersome to work. BOOOO! Bad. I apologize if this has been fixed in the update, as I haven't had a cha...

It sounds like it's all been said, but I like to type so I'll add my voice ;) I'd like the z rotation tool on bones, and some support for exporting mutliplane stuff (z-buffer rendering, or rendering layers) so that I can do 3D compositing in After Effects (depth of field, fog, compositing, etc.) As ...

Sounds like fun! Great idea, Nichod. I just hope I can find the time to enter and that we'll see more than just South Park entries.

I downloaded the demo and I was trying to draw in it. I couldn't get a solid line, just a bunch of dots! I tried all of the adjustments on the pen tool, but nothing changed my drawing to a line.

Oh well.

I couldn't agree more, Reindert. Flash is a big offender in this. I think even though Moho has it's issues, but it definitely feels more like a program designed by someone who uses it and listens to it's users. I have a list of "simple" improvements I would like to see that merely capitali...

I agree. I'd hope to Lost Marble's efforts put into improving the current interface and tools, rather than adding more 3D. I know Maya and I don't think Moho is going to ever realistically replace that for 3d needs. 3D is complex. Too bad, get over it and either learn it or decide that you want to d...

Good news! www.animationmeat.com is back up and running. It has even more info than before, including some exercises (in particular some x-sheets and dialogue to practice lip synch!).

Very cool site.

Has animationmeat been taken down? I can't seem to connect to it.

If it has, does anyone have the notes that were online? I'd love to save them for reference. You can PM me if you do.

I know this is off topic but that's the way threads go. Bupaje, Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky are fantastic. I recently rented Porco Rosso and found I liked it even better! It's like watching an anime version of classic films from the '40's (like Cassablanca). It's beautifully animated and has...

My best ideas come from several different outlets: -Joking around with friends -Exercising, like Rasheed said, all that blood rushing around with some extra endorphins really sets the mental blocks free -In the shower. Actually, this is where I typically come up with the best solutions to difficult ...

I would probably not be one of the first to buy the new system, because I've read that Apple is notorious for producing not very stable first versions (e.g. the first iMac G5s had problems inserting CDs and DVDs, the early eMacs had CRT blackout problems when the sound was constantly played at max ...

I use the Wacom for everything now (helps with preventing RSI a little). It just takes a bit of practice to get used to it. Try loading in a drawing and then tracing it. Or just try doing basic drawing exercises: straight lines, circles, smooth curves, etc. Once you get the hang of it you'll probabl...

I was going to enter, but I'm already signed with Spike and Mike for distribution. I think the age limit has something to do with the contest's intent. From what I understand, it's a way for them to shop for the next big show. A number of cable animations were discovered through animation festivals ...
