Re: Basic test run cycle.

Thanks for the comments guys, Yes I agree that the animation needs a little more work, even the design... but like i said this was just a quick test.

It's the first time i ever created a GIF :p I didn't know how easy it was to create GIFs in photoshop.

I was checking out skillshare today, and it seems really cool. They have this course for simple character animation in after effects. Link to course here: http://www.skillshare.com/classes/design/Simple-Character-Animation/1750772942?via=search And the projects that the students are creating are rea...

Re: Papagayo question

Papagayo is an open source software created by Mike Clifton (also the same creator of anime studio). But i believe it has nothing to do with smith micro (i might be wrong) Besides, papagayo already works with anime studio, so there is no reason to waste time incorporating it. Anime studio has its ow...

Re: Duet - Glen Keane's new animated short

Beautiful and amazing work! I believe it has something to do with the interactive version for mobile devices. I'm guessing that when you rotate the device the images are also going to rotate a bit? I suppose is going to be kind of an app, rather than just a regular video and they were programming th...

Re: ***Animation Team Wanted****

Don't take this the wrong way... but i advise you to get a little more experience before you even consider to lead a team of animators.

Otherwise no one is going to take you seriously.

Cheers,

Re: How Do I Make Anime Style Backgrounds?

To develop any skill set you need to practice, practice and practice.
Is like if you were asking how to draw? or how to dance? or how to be good at a sport?

Try switching the microphone in the options.

But i'm guessing, that you may have a driver issue, download and update the latest drivers for your microphone.

Re: The upper body of my character gets distorted

That's because your bones have strength and the strength is influencing other parts of the body. I always find that binding the points to the bones works better if you are working with vectors. Re: my colors will not stay still.

You have to enable the option "Minimize frame by frame randomness" on the crayon effect and also on the project settings just to make sure.

But you may still get some movement, you can also render each part of your character as an image and then import it again and animate it this way.

Re: Moving a mask over stationary object/text

Just animate the layers individually, don't animate the group(mask) or the text layer.

Here is an example hopefully this can help you:
