Re: Playing with "2.5D"

I think the 2.5D effect turned out great. :)

Edit : The audio is not too loud, maybe a little but not too much.

Animation Reel #2

Nn_dovi3XHg Once again, another animation reel from me, this one features 10 new animations inside, and if you haven't noticed I have upgraded the resolution of my cartoons from 720p to 1080p, I am now fully doing 1080p videos thanks to my new editing software, I can also do 4K but YouTube compress...

Re: The Tree and On The Road - Animations

Thanks guys. :) How long have you been animating Markster? For about a year and a half in Anime Studio, and about 8 years in Paint, which were pretty bad animations. :| I'm now working on a new YouTube cartoon series for my new channel. https://www.youtube.com/user/SleepingClock -- Edit : A new vers...

A home in the forest. (Another test)

Just another Anime Studio Pro animation, I'm using the depth of field feature in this one.

It's not perfect, but still enjoy! :)

Re: 4K resolution in cartoons

It's unfortunately compressed, but you can render in 4K yourself in AS Pro.

Re: What software do you use with Anime Studio?

Bump! Things have changed a little, here is my updated list of applications I use to create cartoons. 1. Anime Studio Pro 9.5 (animating) 2. Vegas Movie Studio HD 11 (editing, might get a better program in the future...) 3. GIMP (storyboard art) 4. LMMS (music and some sound effects) 5. Audacity (so...

Re: My Hand Drawn Cartoon

Thank you, I've been interested in animation since age 9, I used to make little MS Paint cartoons at that time, this is a great forum with great animators, I'm glad I bought AS Pro in 2013, that was money well spent.

Re: 4K resolution in cartoons

A friend of mine sells Film, DVD and BluRay etc. He tells me he still sells 30 times as many DVD's as BluRays. The market for BluRay is fairly small still so I doubt rushing to embrace 4K is high on many people's priorities. You would need a huge TV to see any difference between BluRay and 4K. 2D a...

My Hand Drawn Cartoon

I have been practicing hand drawing cartoons in Anime Studio, here is a simple test for that style of cartoon, I used bones to bend the trees with the wind and I used a cycle keyframe to repeat the cloud movement, it's not perfect, but I tried.

4K resolution in cartoons

4K may not be mainstream yet, but it's coming closer every day, back a while ago I rendered a 4K Anime Studio animation, the animation was terrible but it had a 4K resolution, unless you actually have a 4K monitor or TV you will not be able to see the difference, and I imagine most people who were v...

Re: Head Turn Test

Of course it's not a good animation people, it's just a test animation for smart bone control levers, I only spent a few minutes animating him.

Thanks for being honest, it helps me get better. :)

Head Turn Test

Now that I have smart bones I tested how good it would work for a simple head turn.

It's not a good animation or drawing, it's just a test for a head turning animation.

Made in Anime Studio Pro 9.5 and Vegas Movie Studio HD 11.
