Well, yesterday it wasn't working at all -guess we shouldn't complain. I was doing some work prior to the plug-in, and what you could get was a little b/w outline of the figure. This makes a world of difference. I suspect it may also resolve the "buck nekkid" export/import of Poserlings to...

Confirmed, even though it says poserobj.py on both the link and during the d/l, you need to change it to a .zip and then extract it to get poserobj.py (and the readme file).

Gonna need to go beat up their web guys. . . -R

Without beating a dead horse, I've been around the Poser community well before it was under the E-frontier banner, and have been aware of other issues of a similar kind. In the last couple rounds of Poser upgrades, and in regard to some new releases of other software, there have been issues with ser...

To me there's a big advantage to having a start-up project with my defaults set and a standard length (most of my cuts are around 5 seconds). That saves about five minutes to open and configure a new project, and five minutes is five minutes. I came to this after it was rebranded, but have to say it...

As someone who is more of a hobbyist cartoonist than a tradiitonal animator and with a (limited) background in 3D I prefer to to create my characters just once then animate them, and thus I feel more comfortable using the-program-formerly-known-as-Moho. :) As someone who has done it "the hard ...

3D Object files are viewable with the 3D camera-meaning you can turn, rotate, etc. You can apply 2D bones to them, but what you get is something of a warping effect rather than actual 3D animation. However, there are instances where stylistically using a 3D object or landscape with 2D elements can b...

I'm also an EX owner. There's a forum over at http://www.runtimeDNA.com for it as well. Not meaning to plug the site, extensively, but if the info's available.

EX for that price is a pretty good deal. Shame I already have it. :D -R

Blank project is fairly easy. All you need to do is create a single blank layer, then delete the other layers. You have to have at least one layer in order for the others to be deleted. Then save the file into the Startup folder with the name StartupFile.anme-which overwrites the existing start-up s...

.Wav is a windows format. The Mac version supports AIFF sound files. Not sure if the script will work, or if editing it to replace .WAV with .AIFF will resolve the problem, but you might try contacting the script's author about that.-R

I use Poser extensively in pre-viz for animation, illustration, and video work, as well as for "final" output in some cases. It's primary value to me though, is in the wealth of fairly cheap third-party content available. The time to create and rig much of the things that I can buy off the...

The "invalid serial number" is not a new SNAFU-unfortunately. Very many upgraders for E-frontier products have had this problem, especially with transactions orginating outside the US. Contacting E-frontier should at least verify if the number is good or if it's just more of the same recur...

Depends on the video editing/capturing software you have available. Most of them will let you export "audio only" as WAV type file (or AIFF in case of the Mac). Alternatively most capture systems have an option to capture only video, or only audio, meaning you'd capture from your camera tw...
