how about checking the "allow animated layer effect"in the layers submenu?
also check all of the shading/shadows settings in the affected layers.maybe something got changed when you were setting up.

in the layers pallet,left click-hold on the vector layer you want to rigg with bones and drag into the bone layer. the bone layer in the layer pallet should highlight to red when you drag the layer into it so you know its there. bone binding by default is automatic.double click on the bone layer in ...

this sounds like a "bone hierarchy"problem. The order in which you create your bones is important. If you created the head bone first then the chest and torso bones in that order, then the head bone would be parent of the chest bone. You should be able to use the re-parent tool to fix the ...

I believe the sequencer only works on layers( group, particle, bone....) so to move the keyframes you could use the rescale keyframes option in the animation submenu if you have a lot of camera movements you want to move. setting the FPS in project settings(ctr+shift+p) should rescale the animation. Alternately you could use the rescale keyframe option in the animation drop-down menu. This is probably the better way of doing it

The only thing I see that I would change is maybe something to distinguish better between the Zeus character and Poseidon.
