Re: DKWROOT scripts *NEW LAYER SELECTOR
Thanks, Victor. :D To install the icon just copy one of the provided icons in the dark or light folders to the same folder that you placed the LUA file. AH, thanks! And I just noticed you can easily set custom keystrokes for script tools from the Edit Keyboard Shortcuts dialog (how long has that be...

Re: Layer is disappearing when exporting - need help
Could you share your anime file online via Dropbox etc? You can get the best help that way generally.

Re: DKWROOT scripts *NEW LAYER SELECTOR
I am getting used to the script right now, I never use the regular layer select tool, I just always go into the layers panel, so this is new to me all the way around.

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
Ah, I get it. If that would enable a better character wizard, I'm all for it. I would like to see a character wizard that allowed you to create your own rigs to generate characters based on your own needs and designs. I know a lot of people may think the character wizard is a beginner concept, but I...

Re: Sony Movie Studio?
Thanks Greenlaw, but it still looks pretty bad when using the MP4 made from Windows ASP 11. I did however try exporting to PNG sequence, that looks so much better, the colors are true to the original, the MP4 I was using is washed out, I guess the lesson learned is that MP4 is good for quick renders...

Sony Movie Studio?
I'm trying to use Sony Movie Studio 12 (basically Vegas Light) but the output video has 'trails' I tried to match the framerate, but Sony has 23.976 ITVC film as it's 24 FPS option. I am not sure if this is my issue at all, but if anyone has experience with SMS please let me know what settings work ...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
I've said this over and over, but I'm going to remind you guys again. We need nested z-depth control. Basically this means that every layer within a group is organized by z-depth regardless of nesting. When you combine this with layer referencing, you'll quickly find that you can build characters i...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
How about some sort of 'static' interpolation curve, for instance, ease out 4 frames before a change, so you can set a consistent interpolation event every time a key is changed, but without it occurring relative to the two keys, just to the next key. So for mouth shapes, say you have a switch layer...

I think happy, sad, open, closed, and 'O' are the bare minimum, unless you are a Muppet.

Re: Transition from Toon Boom to Anime Studio 11?
Selgin even gives a tip on using cycled markers to create the grid that is missing, especially when animating on 2s this is helpful. I tried it, the colors clash with the dark interface. Don't stare at the image too long, your eyes might explode. http://s7.postimg.org/a7rm5ffez/eyebleed.png Y...

Re: Help Shape the Future of Anime Studio
-- Add the ability to show switch layer contents as thumbnails in the switch layer dropdown. In flash, there are add-ons like keyframe caddy and TrickOrScript that do this and it's EXTREMELY useful for digging through switch layers with lots of content. 5. ODD TIMELINE As I mentioned earlier, Anime Studio's timeline doesn't mesh with 2d animators very well. You guys need to add a toggle mode that will add a grid to the timeline. Just look at Toom Boom/Flash to get an idea of how people prefer their timeline to look. Selgin even gives a tip on usin...

Re: Recommendations for affordable alternative to WACOM
I definitely wouldn't get a tablet for AS. And that's a shame. I wonder what the timeline is before this is online, if it is even currently planned. I can't see how it couldn't be. At the least, if not scaling of the whole interface, it would be great to get an alternate interface that was specific...
