ahh, who cares about the name? I would still love moho just the same if it was called ShitPile... what i'm much more curious is how the program will change - what new features will be added, and what will the real differences be between the pro version and the lite version... also, when will it come...

if you insert your action as a reference (not a copy), you'll see the name of the action on the timeline, as well as an arrow showing how long the action is. then, when you edit your action, it's updated in your main timeline wherever you used it. personally i tend to copy actions rather than refere...

I have another question about graph mode. Is there any way to see the 'All Bones' Keyframe in this mode? If you have a character with lots of bones, and you want them all to move along the same velocity curve, it can be a real pain in the ass to match them all up (if you're using graph mode). Isn't ...

Go out and buy "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richard Williams. That will give you everything you need.

You can learn without teachers as long as you have good books, patience and practiced extreme precision.

Think of your comp, or composition, as your timeline. The comp can contain as many resources as you want, they will be layers on the timeline. Within the comp you can apply effects to layers, or move them around on the timeline, etc. The comp is a set length and size (up to you of course and there a...

in after effects you can 'import project', which basically brings all the comps and resources from one project into another. also in case you didn't know, you can nest comps inside each other. so, just import whatever projects you need into the master project, then drop your comps into a master comp...

This is by far the best proof of Moho's potential I've seen.

Feature quality! Super-impressive work guys, now I want to go to Hungary to soak up the brilliance.

The controlling bone could even be in the switch layer itself, since switch layers have bones too!

Is anyone up to the challenge? God, I wish I knew how to write Lua scripts...

Okay, I've finally tried it out. Tha Narie - you have just increased the value of Moho by a significant degree. Thank you! This is such an important feature, it's hard to believe it wasn't possible until now. 3 things I noticed: 1 - I screwed up my first try, deleted the layer and tried again... the...

I was just thinking of the simplest possible version of this, and wondering if it's possible... what if you have a switch layer with 2 sublayers, A and B. the switch layer has a bone in it. if you rotate the bone clockwise, the switch is set to A. if you rotate the bone counterclockwise, the switch ...

if the top bone is the child of the bottom bone, it will move with the bottom bone whenever you move it.

if you want to put them closer together, try offsetting the top bone instead.

from what i understand, z-buffering would not only solve the group depth layer problem, but also enable you to place a layer within an imported 3D object (imagine a character sitting in an open 3D box), which is currently impossible. This would make it so much easier to use 3D sets, which would make...
