I stated animating cartoons when I was twelve years old, with flip books and stick figures. I am still considered an amatuer because i've never work for anyone for money. It's still a hobby for me. My first animation program was on a 16 bit system call Walt Disney's Animation Studio. It taught anima...

It kind of reminds me of "Happy Tree Friends", except less gross.

But it's still good. Keep it up.

Experiment 626

Experimental animation, just trying out some new techniques, and/or different ways of doing things. No story, just animation. Of course I've overdone it again.

I went to Borders yesterday and pick up the only copy they had. The online help file is more like a overview of ASP with some tutorials. The book, however, is more in depth study of features and buttons we've all stared at, and wondered, "What the hell does that do?" The first few chapter ...

Overall it was very well animated. I would suggest one change. When it comes to the scriptural text, I would have created characters to speak the lines. This would be visually more interesting than having the viewer just looking at words while someone else reads them. I know this would mean more wor...

I have seem your first effort and the only criticism I have is that you underestimate yourself. I have an artistic background and animation has more to do with observation than how well you can draw. Your ability to see how the world moves will serve you more than how well you can draw a straight li...

Before I got into computer animation, I used to do fine art painting as hobby. I love to draw and paint. I also love using the computer. But I could never draw or paint using the computer alone. The process was long and tedious, with lots of mistakes. So, I never used the computer of any kind of art...

An Evil Cartoon - Perhaps

I'm an evil person, I'm a heretic. I have blasphemed against the Great Global Warming god. I'm on the payroll of Big Oil (although I haven't seen a cent from them). With that being said, enjoy! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K910fcnPb7s Actually this cartoon is more of an observation than a belief i...

I had a simular problem a few years ago. I wanted to download a huge file with only a dialup connection. It would have taken 25 hours to download and tied up my telephone. My Solution: I got my nephew, who had a high speed connection, to download the file. He burned that file to a disk and mailed it...

How long is the animation you're working on? I also run with Vista (not my favorite OS), and have a similar problem, but only when the animation get over a minute long, ASP seems to get unstable beyond a certain number of frames. If you wait long enough, the program will recover, atleast for me. But...

I have seen this effect in recent documentries on the History Channel. It can be done with ASP, easy. Well, almost easy. You have to have atleast two planes, three is better, foreground, middleground, and background. After importing your elements, position the background element in 3D mode and enlar...
