Jdm69bDle6E AS can import object files. They would have an extension of .obj An object file can also have a companion file which lists materials. They would have an extension of .mtl (.mtl on a 'Windows' computer) So... you do not necessarily need the materials embedded ('baked') within the object ...

In Blender you would use the rotate tool... In Anime Studio methods vary, some use switch layers others smart bones or point animation. Various tutorials are on the web (YouTube, Smith Micro Webinars, etc.)

You might try enabling depth of field in project settings and then insuring z depth of your background layer is set back... let me know if this helps.

The walk cycle you refer to is an 'action', have you opened the action window?
