I have to say: I really love the Pixar stuff. I think Pixar could make a 2d animation that would still make $100+ million at the box office, just because their stories are great.

I'd love to see a contest for best script. I think the number of voters could be increased by sending an email directly to all the user email addresses. The email could state in plain English that there is a contest to participate in (none of this "Topic Reply Notification" stuff). I suspe...

If I had to guess, I'd say that the real pros are too busy doing work for money. I for one would like to see what Squeaky Dave or Diego Mendiguren would do for a competition such as this. They've both got some really wonderful stuff in the official gallery. Congrats on the win, Nobudget! :) Kindest ...

I know this thread has been quiet for a while, but I just wanted to add my voice to those who have trouble with the windows in Moho 5. I do most of my work on my laptop, so my teeny monitor feels somewhat cramped. Almost all my problems with resizing windows comes from stuff in the top half (the too...

This is really great! The arsenal of effects continues to grow. Looking at the file it quickly became clear to me that I don't understand everything that is going on. Looking under layer settings I noticed that the blending mode is set to "Multiply". Looking in the tutorials I didn...

I've had luck with animating complex objects that move together by placing them both beneath the same group (in my case, a magical creature was carrying a box, which he later drops). While they're moving together, I use the group translation and rotation for action, and once they're done moving toge...

It sounds like there will be other competitions in the future, so maybe you could submit it to one of those.

The image looks really wonderful. As others said above, I'd love to check it out, but couldn't get the link to open.

It sounds like rule 2 gives him sufficient lee-way. "2. You must use Moho for a significant portion of the project. By significant, I mean that the majority of character animation, camera work and SFX (preferably all) be done in Moho. Some exceptions to this would include, importing artwork fro...

Did the link you gave work for you? I can't wait to see it.
