Re: the Fill option keeps deselecting itself
Ok, I figured it out. The style palette Fill option box automatically deselecting itself when using the FREEHAND drawing tool is caused by the TRANSFORM POINTS tool's Auto-Fill option box NOT being selected. I Checked the Auto-Fill box option for the Transform Points tool....then went back to the Fr...

the Fill option keeps deselecting itself (NOW figured it out
I'm using the freehand tool and have the Auto-Fill and Auto-Close selected in margin above canvas. But when I draw a shape the "Fill" deselects itself over in the style palette (check mark disappears). I can reselect it and the shape i drew fills in... but I shouldn't have to always go ove...

Bone Dials mishaps
I love the bone dial feature in ASP10 but I think I'm doing something incorrectly. I leave the dial settings at the default -90 and 90 with 100 frames. after I'm done and go to the main line to check my dials action, it skips in the middle dial position to the starting point of the action but then c...

ASP 10 Crashing erratically
I have a MacBook Pro with Mavericks OS X 10.9.2 and I have the ASP10 GPU acceleration box checked. I never had any problems with ASP9 or 9.5. I have noticed that ASP10 crashes for different reasons but not all the time for the same thing. Sometimes it is for selecting a layer in a project, other tim...

Re: eyes group won't move with the head
Yes, that did the trick I should have already know that but I built other characters differently and had no issues. Thankyou Droxon!Droxon wrote:You just have to bind the eyes layer to the same bone as the head.
Hope this helps

eyes group won't move with the head
Looking for assistance in solving this: I made a worm and then rigged it with several bones from tail to head with all parts of the worm under this bone layer. Then made eyes and put them together under a bone layer with masking (this is under the main worm bone layer of course). when I manipulate t...

Re: 9.5 is out...
Yes and no. This works with separate layers, but won't work with individual shapes on one layer (feature request? :) ). It all depends on how you create and rig your characters. If you want to use this to completely eliminate bone offset than all the shapes that would need this type of selective fl...

Re: 9.5 is out...
I hope that I am understanding this correctly, but it seems that this wonderful 9.5 version that separating body parts for bone rigging and your characters exploding in frame zero will be a thing of the past. Am I correct? Pretty much, yes. Not that it was a huge deal, but I am happy about it :D

Re: 9.5 is out...
I got the new 9.5 update. I saw on one of the video tutorials that when using the shape selector, instead of the checkerboard highlighting, it is supposed to now be a red box for better visibility of your work. I still get the checkerboard, but I can see the live color changes on the canvas. anyone ...

Is it Possible to stick Vector layers together?
I am creating shapes with vector layers and then other vector layers on top it for very detailed shading effects for the main shape. My question is...is it possible to make these two layers stick together so they wont come apart and so when you manipulate points on the main(bottom) layer, the shadin...

Questions about using Adobe Illustrator Vector Files
When/if you create Vector graphic files with Adobe Illustrator, and then import into Anime Studio....do you use it just like a vector file that was created natively in Anime Studio. How do imported vector files behave diffently?...do ASP recognize the points of other vector files?
