I think you're getting carried away. The animation in the second film is good, but the artwork isn't that great in either -- just seems pretty formulaic anime. I love Moho, but it ain't the best vector drawing program. Take a look around this forum, try some other vector drawing programs out, then i...

If you want to use vector brushes, here is a simple working method: Use Expression (or Acrylic, or whatever it's called now), and strut your funky design stuff... Export it as a .swf file... Import swf into Flash. You can then optimise it in a number of ways... Export optimised drawing as an .ai fil...

Easy, Ramon. Deep breaths, grasp your left wrist with your right hand, and keep repeating "calm, calm, calm..." (or the equivalent in Spanish).

the Takeo Igarashi "shape manipulation" thing...
From a 2D animation point of view, this is easily the most impressive thing I've seen in years. It's not a total solution to rapid animation development, but the productivity implications are startling! You have to see this!!

If you're interested in producing animations for the web, I assume you already have Flash? Flash can import Quicktime movies and sequences of stills, and can handle sound better than Moho. So you could use Flash as a kind of "video editor for the web" It's horses for courses. You could div...

I own ToonBoom AND Moho. ToonBoom is very useful for cinematic flights of fancy, and it's a better choice if you are more used to traditional animation. But once you've tried Moho for a while, it really has so many good things going for it, you won't want to leave. The best advice is -- try it out. ...

I'm at a loss to understand this. I'm all for getting something for nothing (I mean, who isn't?), but there's a word for companies that don't get any money for the services they offer. That word is "bankrupt". Why should any company provide you with a service for nothing? Advertising can b...

Thanks Myles -- that helps a bit. I always prefer a map to a list of directions if I'm going somewhere; I guess my confusion relates to the fact that I think visually...!

Hi Ramon, Have you looked at Animation Master http://www.hash.com In some ways it resembles Moho, and it's quite powerful and (relatively) cheap. If you can get hold of "The Animation Master Handbook, second Edition" by Jeff Paries, it even has an installation disk with no restrictions. It...

I'm confused. Earlier you said:
Moho doesn't like the image paths to go "up and over".
Surely this is an "up-and-over" structure?
