Re: Who wants to watch a stupid animation?
The animation is pretty good, but, I wouldn't call it stupid. It discourages regular folk from wanting to see it. Thanks eric1223! It surprisingly has a lot more views because I called it stupid haha. I honestly don't like it though so I think it's well...uh...not liked by me. It was just a test an...

Who wants to watch a stupid animation?
If you come to watch a stupid animation, you are in the right place! Warning it's stupid...you've been warned  B_jRguA5Lw8 About this animation: I made this animation for fun to try and work with lip syncing better and figure out if it's more efficient to do smart bones or actions when lip syn...

Re: Video Question: How to use smart bones more efficiently?
No problem :D I like to teach and help out others (when I can). I am glad that you liked it and thought it was professional, I was having so much trouble getting it compressed. Ugh...I might just have to go and get the $200.00 software of camtasia...danget. I learned a lot and my favorite new thing ...

Re: Smart Bone Lip Sync Tutorial from a beginner to a beginn
Thanks! I just wish I had a legit screen recording software... I think the screen recording software limits my audio...I will try to do the video and audio separate. The recording quality is really good (clean), though seems weighted to the left channel - I like your voice, it's all nice and clear ...

Re: Sneak Walk Cycle, How can I improve?
Thanks furpuss I will definitely do that!Furpuss wrote:I recommend that you get a copy of Preston Blair's animation book. It has an excellent sneak cycle. Second, animate the character across the screen instead of holding him in one place. This will solve the foot sliding problem.

Re: Smart Bone Lip Sync Tutorial from a beginner to a beginn
Hello mate, for some reason the sound isn't working (it's totally my end, so don't worry), but it means I can't watch right now As a general rule, I think 45 minutes might be on the long side for a tutorial. Also, you don't need to double post this in two sections also fyi, my name is 'Funksmaname,...

Thank you AmigaMan for the compliment! I will keep doing my best to get better!AmigaMan wrote:I too was very impressed with this. The character is very pleasing to the eye and your English accent would easily have fooled me, had you not said you weren't English! Great stuff.
Thank you!

Re: Video Question: How to use smart bones more efficiently?
If it's not to much trouble, can you do a tutorial on who you did the lip sync for that character step by step for a sentence or 2. It would really help a lot of us who are struggling with smart bones lip syncs. I always struggle with the timing and the forming of syllables using the different smar...

I liked it! I really liked your character design. Not sure about the white outline. Thank you Kadoogan! Yeah I was just messing around with the settings and discovered it, I was kinda going for a paper cutout look :) I thought your English accent was pretty good. Thanks haha! guess I didn't sound a...

Re: Video Question: How to use smart bones more efficiently?
Hey heyvern! Thanks for your response I can't wait for that video! This can make it tricky to guess how these smart bones will work together. You sort of have to either jump back and forth tweaking point motion in each SB or alternatively, you could rotate a smart bone while editing ANOTHER smart bo...
