Re: Ant Walk. Constructive Criticism needed
Hmmm. If you think about it, the ant would find it very difficult to walk like this. It's more productive to think "how many legs does the ant need to be stable?", and the answer is 3. So for each stage of the ant's walk, he would move just one leg forward. Then he'd stand on three differ...

Ant Walk. Constructive Criticism needed
So this is my first every quadraped/ insect/ ant walk/ forward walk ever so I definitely need some help out. After I rendered it, I noticed he had some goofy head and arm movements, but ignore all that  What I need help with is the walk. I have no clue what an ant is suppose to walk like, but ...

Re: What the...Smiley Guy has a daughter??
Cool Danimal do you have any animations that I can look at to see how you use switch layers?? I used switch layers before but really like that exaggerated look of cartoon, and because I suck with realism....that's pretty much why I draw cartoons. haha.
I will definitely keep it in mind.

First off I want to say awesome job ddrake I love how you are doing that as is, still shows I have a long way to go! I personally love all the emotions that you put into your characters, you're really good at that. I'm sorry I know that rig is pretty much crap to work with. It's mostly because it's ...

Re: What the...Smiley Guy has a daughter??
Thanks a lot ddrake! haha Yeah I used the same rig as Smiley Guy and had the same smart bones, but when I went to move the points for the eye more towards the center and shrink the head a bit. It screwed up a lot of my original smart bone actions, so the eyes -when the mouth opened wide- went way of...

What the...Smiley Guy has a daughter?? *Challenge included*
So I was messing around with the mouth sync some more on the smiley guy animation and I was like..."wait a minute I never animated a child before they are a little more expressive when it comes to the mouth and facial expressions and stuff so I will try that". So I did...introducing smiley...

Re: Who wants to watch a stupid animation?
Excellent work! I enjoyed it. Look forward to more. Thanks undiscovered! I got another one coming! I forgot to mention about lip syncing... I personally prefer using smart bones, it's time consuming but I get a lot more face shapes and emotion when using it. If you are looking for somethi...
