Take a look at "Edit->Preferences->Editor Colors" and "Edit->Preferences->Appearance" to see if there is anything in there you can change which may help.

I'm not sure what you actually mean. Can you post a screenshot? If you want to zoom in on the timeline, you can use the two icons on the top right of the timeline.

I've accidentally managed to put a marker in the timeline. Now, every time I run the animation, it starts from the marked frame. I've tried resetting using alt-left and alt-right clicking at beginning and end of animation, but it just won't go away. I know it's probably something simple, but, HELP!!...

Workspaces, like in Clip Studio Paint, where the user can create several of their own and save them, as well as have predefined ones.

TBH, I tend to keep everything docked, and open. The problem I find with undocking and closing is that when I re-open they often appear on the wrong screen, but that's Win 11 for you. However, I reckon you've inadvertently given food for thought for something to be added to the wishlist - Workspaces...

Years ago, a co-worker had trouble selecting the left-most side of the timeline on her Cintiq. We solved this by making sure Windows Scaling was set to 100% and adjusting the display resolution so that it was usable at this scale.
