We all find these things a pain but they are being regularly removed. Without the moderators, we would be drowning in them, I suspect. One of the problems is that moderators may well be in different time zones so they don't always jump on them immediately.

Tell you what, "InfoCentral" - why don't you just try it for yourself? I think the coin will drop once you actually attempt it.

Does Moho not do tweening? Yes.....and no. Yes. Moho is primarily a vector-based program. Inbetweening in vector graphics is easy if the two key frames you are inbetweening have the same number of control points. So yes, Moho can do this sort of inbetweening, though you need to plan or the results ...

Well, at the risk of making it seem even more confusing, I would qualify the above comments: the dpi setting is used - but only when you need to import a bitmap image into Moho. If you are only using vectors, dpi settings don't come into it. The way I think about it is simply to think of dots as bei...

Ooh, who is in a bad mood? You're absolutely right of course as to why it has no chance whatsoever of taking off as a web product, but don't knock it til you've seen it, Vern. Some of the movies are hypnotic. If it has a future, it's for film/broadcast promos and special effects, not as a web produc...

Morphing + automatic inbetweening software

Some time ago, there was a thread on this forum about the practicality of automatic inbetweening. I was one of those who pooh-poohed the idea. I still say that as a general principle it is impossible for the foreseeable future, but here is a very interesting variation on the basic morphing software ...

Rilke Sorry to come in at this late date, but I would add to what has been discussed above that sharp does not always mean better when it comes to broadcast images. You don't say whether you are producing for the big screen or for TV, but if it's for the latter, you should know that cgi images that ...

TT - I am not disagreeing with your opinion of the new tool - I also find it superfluous. I was merely trying to point out that it was a bit unrealistic of you to compare the way that a bitmap-based paintbucket works where you can set pixel thresholds and so on with a vector-based one. They are two ...

It's fair to compare Moho's features with those in other vector programs, but comparing its fill function with the way bitmap image areas are filled in a program like Photoshop is unfair and pointless. Chalk and cheese!

Someone in the forums here once suggested a tiny freeware program called colorcop

It's very useful and is very easy to use in conjunction with Moho.

I am wondering whether cartoonplayer means he wants to be able to change the position of layers in relation to one another, so one can go in front of or behind another. This is something that seems to catch out newbies. My solution is to translate layers thru z by a tiny fraction so that they don't ...

Vern, This is for you as you asked me directly what a studio needs that an individual doesn't. Well, I answered that in my first post and I suggest you also carefully read jackthegiantkiller's posting as he is making the same points and expressing himself better than I can. One simple example for yo...

Jay, forgive me if I am stating the obvious, but were you aware that you don't see things like shading in the edit mode? In order to see the results of changes made to shading etc., go to File, Render (shortcut Control + R) to see a properly rendered image.
