Figured out what Gather Shapes does. Still unclear about the 'l' key though. For me, this just selects the Eyedropper tool.

Re: Multi-select mod for SelectShape tool (Requires CP Produ
Being able to change the stacking order of multiple selected items is awesome. Thank you so much for creating this tool. BTW, I got the console error here but the script tweak described earlier fixes it. After that, the script appears to run fine but I have a few questions: 1. Switching from points ...

Re: Multi-select mod for SelectShape tool (Requires CP Produ
Purchased it anyway--sounds like something I can use right away. Multi-select works great but I'm not exactly sure I understand how to use some of the other features--is there a workflow video anywhere? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I'm thinking of purchasing the CP library files to use these scripts. Can anybody tell me if the scripts are compatible with 9.5? Thanks in advance for any info.

I relied on this forum (see url below) for the information about Celsys and Smith Micro... Thanks for the links...I'll check this out later today. And thanks for the tracing tips! I find the Trace Image display easier to work with because, unlike a Bitmap Image layer, Show Trace Image remains trans...

Re: Art Work for Anime Studio in Manga Studio - any advantag
I'll have to write Celsys directly and get the full scoop. There no information at their website that either confirms or denies the 'no cross-grade' policy mentioned above, and it seems odd to me that they would turn down paying customers who might wish to upgrade their license of Manga Studio in th...

Re: Art Work for Anime Studio in Manga Studio - any advantag
@jahnocli, it's a custom font based on my 'comics style' handwriting. I've been using it ever since I started drawing in Manga Studio. I often find I need to tweak letter/word spacing, which probably means my kearning pairs are not setup thoroughly enough. One of these days I need to fix that. The p...

Re: Screen Marker - Useful (and Free) Windows Utility
Oh, I almost forgot: because ASP doesn't have a ruler, here's another on-screen tool I find useful: ScreenRuler I usually keep the transparency set pretty high, 50 or 60%. Alternatively, I keep a layer with non-filled shapes (mostly rectangles and squares,) to compare sizes and spacing between objec...

Re: Art Work for Anime Studio in Manga Studio - any advantag
Manga Studio EX is fantastic for what it was designed for: drawing comics. The bitmap drawing tools in (4.0) are pretty good--not great but better than adequate for drawing 'black and white' comics with gray tones. Version 5.0 finally adds real color painting support though I haven't used the color ...

Re: Making a STYLE without a Fill
Oh, I just thought of something--it's possible that you have a copy of the shape stacked on top of another and the bottom shape might be filled with white. This happened to me once. To find out, try selecting and deleting the top shape. If there is a copy of the shape underneath, it should remain vi...

Re: Making a STYLE without a Fill
That sounds strange. FWIW, it works here. Just to be sure of your procedure: 1. Create the style and name it. 2. Uncheck Fill. 3. Select the shape you want to appy the style to using the Select Shape tool 4. Apply the style by selecting the style's name from under the Style 1 or Style 2 list. If you...
