Hm, I never would spend that much time with adjusting curves - I just put in another keyframe and adjust so it looks good enough. I had noticed that sometimes it wasn't possible to get a nice cycle starting at #1, so I just duplicated the keys and started somewhere else. This gets necessary also whe...

I bet I'm repeating myself here, but anyway: The scenes I work with are between 20 and 250 frames long, equals 1 to 10 seconds. Not longer. A scene of one minute would be long even in a feature length film. The only scenes of that length were introducing shots which consisted mostly of pans. It coul...

It all depends on how many people are working with you and how big the project is. The more split up your production is, the more elaborated the storyboard must be. The longer the film, the greater the need to write down first what's necessary. The more professional you have to work, with a client a...

The main problem of your design is that it doesn't read. Some dark blob with fuzzy hairs or what? Take care to colour the body in a way the legs get visible. Also each leg could do with one lighter stroke over its length so the legs get separated optically. Spiders come in all colours, from transpar...

Hey, that's much better already! Of course there are glitches in it right now, but that's something to get fixed over time. I like that character much better than your first example, because it is really animateable in space. Your head turn is already good. Made me think of old and famous Astroboy ....

but for rendering we want to take the animation into blender Why? The usual way to work would be to create artwork either in Moho, or in some other application to be imported as PNGs. Then animate it, and render it as video or PNG sequence with alpha, if you need more FX than you can do in Moho. Co...

Hm, it's not because of the 8bit-sound - that's a nice choice. But I stumbled over the song being continuously from beginning to end. I think film music should have a broader range of tempi and dynamics. For example, the music accompanying Heavy during his walk seems a bit too loud to me. The piece ...

Uff. This - is - so - great! Really. The richness of visual detail, athough done in that simplifying style. The flawless animation everwhere. The clever transition from title to story. The only flaw I see so fare is the sound ... the music just doesn't connect to the image - for me. And I'm missing ...

Having experience in Flash, FreeHand, Illustrator, AS, Photoshop, Painter, and Mirage, I feel qualified to say: don't blame the tool. A vector program is better for constructing images, a bitmap program is better for painting images. Every time a vector program borrows tool concepts from a bitmap pr...
