before anything...
keyframe ball at 1 to left of screen
keyframe ball at 30 to right
then
keyframe at 26 and push to 19
keyframe at 4 and push to 12
you don't have to use the above numbers exactly... just the principle
hope thats clear??

Don't worry I'll leave soon Here is an anime file that will explain the above. spacing.anme (right click and save) Making your spacing work for you is really important. It will make you animation more dynamic and clear. A lot of animation suffers from 'swimmy' timing/spacing - where everything is at...

Thanks angrymonster for your reply. I must say I tried to use Ease in and Ease out in anime studio but without much success. By the way lucky I'm thick skinned otherwise might have taken the comments to heart. yep... I reckon its pretty lame ... it would be good to have a proper graph editor...

Yeah I think you and your art teacher are spot on. To me... animation (2d or 3d or 4d) is broken into 3 things Physics - which can be learned and mastered. Drawing/Design - which you can improve on... but you will probably feel as though your stuff is never quite good enough... which is good cause i...

Give him a break guys?! The animations are not about personality or story... just raw animation exercises. As animation exercises I think you have done pretty good. Although I reckon extend your scene lengths so you can give yourself more time to explore - slow in and outs, overlap and spacing. I as...

For what its worth ... I reckon learning to draw on paper is a good process to go through. Because you don't end up relying on 'undo' all the time. Instead you have to think about where you put your pencil - Which is a big thing - you are visualising the drawing. If you went to a life drawing class ...

I don't know if this is called for ... And I don't know how you are doing your dialogue. But to get snappy dialogue - don't let AS take care of your tweens - create keyframes close to your major mouth shapes - so that they slow in and out.... but make them EXTREME slow in and outs . The above goes f...

We try to get on to the sound as early as we can - even if it is temp. We usually storyboard - then cut in the music (usually temp) and the board together. Record all the dialogue etc. But we usually leave sfx till last, during final mix - unless they are essential to the story. Once all the animati...

Coloured keyframes please
Hey guys. I don't know if you can write a script for this or if it would have to be a software update... anyways... I would like the ability to change the colour of the Keyframe dots. As an example - Lets say I select all points and keyframe them at frame 25 I would like the abiltiy to select that p...

For us storyboarding is essential We always do a detailed storyboard. So that when it comes to animation we know exactly what we are doing. Also before we even think of animating we cut together the board to time out the shots (scenes). And use this (we call it an animatic) to cut in the audio. So i...

Yeah ... I have done that many a time. But, no ... I have checked every layer/group/bone It isn't a biggy ... we can animate the scene again - not much animation in the scene. Just kinda freaky that we lost animation on all the files? But, if no one else has had this problem ... I guess we can put i...

But, for some reason when I opened the file to continue work on it yesterday - ALL the animation and keyframes had disappeared!?... And then I thought ... ok thats cool, ...
