My pleasure mate! I want to record my own but it's hard by myself and I don't have a treadmill or anything, haha. There's quite a few good ones on YouTube if you search walk reference

Very nice! I guess you did this all in AS? How long approximately did it take you to complete? Wish I could understand the dialogue so I could get the full story 8)

Hey Blackhawk, I'm sure a bit of Google work will bring up some tutorials for cut-out animation styles - try "I want to make something like South Park". But really my best advice even for a hobbyist - read the manual for the software, practice, practice, practice and find some animation re...

My bad - didn't watch until after posts :-D

Well I'd say there "we don't know" answer is probably "our system is really screwed and nobody can fix it right now, the guy who installed quit and is holiday in Hawaii"

@Diana Cool as, I am definitely no professional so just sharing some knowledge :-D Yeah it would be nice to have some more import options, but wouldn't it mostly come down to LICENSES? I.e. wouldn't Smith Micro pay for the privilege to use Quicktime, MP3 etc.? Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought t...

@Diana I was sceptical of the idea of multifunction devices once upon a time, especially since I had access to professional quality gear in job I had as a younger man, but out of necessity and budget I bought a printer/scanner combo. Technology is so advanced these days the top end hardware of yeste...

Other great thing in Australia, except a real hassle to follow through with, is the Telecommunications Ombudsman - ISP won't be reasonable? Can't provide you an answer? Just won't budge but you know you are right? JUST ESCALATE IT BABY! I have had severe issues dealing with a call centre that is run...

sbtamu - you will find with all of these "unlimited" plans they will have a "fair use policy". They are all different, but here in Australia most ISPs just throttle our bandwidth if people "abuse" their unlimited plans. Deal is most of these plans aren't truly unlimited...

Thanks Mr Wink! I'm glad you like my sketches - if my characters stink then my stories will have no appeal! Hehe  Going through the full process - idea, script, listing a full "actors and props" list including SFX and music, than planning it all out with storyboarding has made my wo...

I think Slowtiger pointed this out in a post once upon a time - but depending on your desired production quality you shouldn't really rely on AS to export all your video AND audio into a movie file and "Bobs ya uncle". Should use audio in AS as cues only to get lyp-syncing and SFX right - ...

Like Slowtiger says, it's mostly software and drivers that deliver "quality". That'll just be a case of spending money or doing the research on the hardware that makes it to your short list. I have a $60 multifunction device and it scans at a decently high resolution (2800 x 3200 from memo...

Thanks Fulkster 8)

I was really keen to bang this one out, but I pulled the reins on myself and made sure I enjoyed the whole experience, and learnt from it as well - rather than rushing through. Must say planning ahead has made my project visions become a whole lot clearer!
