Anti-aliasing issue, I'm guessing. I'm not across any issues like this in AS but it'll be to do with how AS draws it's vectors. Basically the angle and the thickness of your strokes will affect this. What's your project size? Try setting to a higher resolution and exporting a frame and see how it lo...

You could always render each scene out and edit them together in a video editing suite (Premiere, Final Cut etc.). A freelancer friend of mine usually approaches his AS projects like this as he has a very under-performing PC and has to keep files as small as possible.

You can purchase characters on Content Paradise through Smith Micro. You should really try and draw your own though, it's most of the fun!

Hmmm, I'm not really all for "throw a photo through a filter". Depends on the result though. I know you are a one man band and looking to cut corners, but I don't know if photos run through a filter is the right way. I'd put the effort into drawing or painting the backgrounds 8) Just my 2 ...

Sweet as! Is it beer? (my sounds is busted, got no volume!) Wonder if I will see these in Dan Murphy's :-D (local extra large alcohol emporium).

Did you do the transitions in After Effects? That is the "drawing fading in" feel?

Cool I like him. Definitely has that "woe is me" look going :-D Nice expressions, even if he is basically in a depressive looking state.

No worries 8) I've only used GIMP a few times in the past, but handles most of the basic image editing features one would need.

From what I can see they look nice. My monitor has a pretty nice contrast ratio, with deep blacks but still hard to see your images. Do you use Photoshop? Tweak your levels/curves to make it darker. There is an auto button if you don't know how to use it. This can be achieved with Gimp and Picasso a...

Yuki7 and the Gadget Girls

Oh how I love thee, Stumbleupon.

Came across this today - http://www.yuki-7.com/

Love the style! Great fun :-D Nice 70's vibe with traditional media feel, kind of like watercolour I guess.

Enjoy!

Hi Funk, haven't read over this completely, but your second link visits a page at YouTube for a lip sync tutorial by "Shonuff93". Don't think that's intentional?

EDIT: Damn I'm a fool... haha, *sleeks away into a corner*
